Grant, the coach at DeBordieu was incredible, they were nimble and flexible with changes due to weather or back to school. He was very welcoming to my son as it was his first more formal golf experience and Grant did a great job of getting all the young athletes working together and having fun! The kids felt part of a team within the individual sport and through mirroring the more seasoned kids, the younger ones were better able to learn and put coach Grant’s suggestions into practice.
Additionally, parental involvement and the ability to see our kids blossom and grow was a great part of the PGA Jr. League. Also wonderful that the kids were able to make new friend and great memories throughout the summer.
The staff at Prestonwood Country Club is amazing with the kids.

The Jr. League adds the team aspect for a junior golfer. That generally makes golf more fun for our juniors.

It was a great program! My son enjoyed the professional look the uniform gave him. He also really enjoyed learning a new sport and absolutely loved his Coach (Coach AJ) at Moss Creek Golf Club in Hilton Head. We will be back next season!
We love the opportunity for Andrew to play in our club's summer league. It's very well run and gives him the chance to play with other kids in our community. We also love the lessons.
Great atmosphere for kids. Jerseys and games help draw their interest and teach them the game.
Pine Lake CC (Mint Hill, NC) has fantastic adult volunteers plus is a club that we joined because of their support of jrpga events. To accommodate the kids out playing on Saturdays is huge. Would love to see more “inter” club jrpga events!
I thought it was a fun program for students and appreciated that travel was provided.

We had a great experience with PGA Jr. League! I loved how there was a team aspect so there wasn't so much pressure on each stroke/participant and how the kids got to practice all types of strokes. The coaches were all great!

This was our son’s first experience playing in any sort of tournament environment and he grew so much as a result! The coaches were so invested in the players’ growth as golfers and young people (Michael Pius, First Tee Upstate South Carolina was our son’s coach). He competed in the All Stars Tournament event in Columbia, SC and loved every second. We are so grateful he was able to be involved in PGA Jr. League this summer!
Our club pro Jay King has made it a point at our country club in Hendersonville NC to do everything in his power to encourage the next generation of golfers, and the Jr League is a big part of helping him accomplish that. We have been a part for many years now and will continue until our youngest ages out.
