I cannot put into words just how special this program has been for my son, and has really accelerated his love for the game of golf. This was our first year in the program. I was amazed at what this program offered young people - from the phenomenal golf courses, excellent coaches/staff, and just the opportunity for them to learn about the game is incredible. We look forward to continue participating in this league and I will absolutely recommend this to any others. Great job and amazing league!!

Great environment for developing golfer. Decent pricing for people without normal access to golf. We aren’t club members and try to find whatever opportunities we can that work with the budget.

We like inclusivity for young golfers at Lexington country club. not all golf clubs offer non members to play in PGA Jr League which needs to be changed. We live 10 minutes from Augusta country club but they do not let us register so we have to drive an hour to Lexington country club.
I like how they make golf more a team sport rather than focusing on it being individual.
The format was fun and not too overwhelming for my 8yo who had never played a real round of golf before. He had a great time and it built his interest in the sport and his confidence in himself.
great way to introduce youth to the sport in a team environment so it doesn’t intimidate them they aren’t all on their own, they have teammates to rely on, but also get along with and encourage.

Our club did a great job last season. The kids had a lot of fun and it was rewarding to see their growth, both mentally and physically.
I know not every PGA junior league is the same but ours at Tanglewood in North Carolina run by Daniel Byrd is absolutely incredible. His dedication to these kids, his organization, his skill and experience and leadership with these kids is absolutely incredible and I am proud to have been affiliated with it for over five years.
I think the PGA Jr. League is a wonderful opportunity for young players to get better and really fall in love with the sport. Access to a driving range and putting green and anytime along with the format of playing is top notch.
