Variety of classes. However, I must complain about your policy about opening Cycle Room doors in time for class. Members NEED at least 15 minutes to set up bike, sanitize it, run to restroom without carrying our gear and get on bike to warm up. Many of us have injuries. Opening doors at the time when class is supposed to begin is a BAD idea and many members complain and are unhappy about this policy.
Friendly staff. Beautiful facility. Functional equipment. Love the place.
The variety and availability.
Tai chi
Love the trainers and facilities.
Variety of AOA exercise classes.
Overall is very Good facility!
I like everything but the system for parking in the garage. The card reader often does not work and creates traffic backup and frustration.
The group exercise instructors are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and approachable! The group exercise classes are although very challenging can be taken by members with different fitness level! The instructors provide modified exercise queues which includes low-impact! The classes are amazing and motivating!!
The weight room has new and clean machines and free weights with available friendly/professional staff should members have questions!
There are clean towels as well as hand sanitizers and paper dispensers available through out!
The life gaurds have been very nice and respectful , also the exercise workers on the 4th floor have been great and friendly , I would like to thank all of them very much for motivating me .

Cordial and helpful staff. We
I love the staff’s friendliness. The building can’t be beat. And I especially love the diversity of the patrons — all races and ages, both genders, and a range of incomes and interests.
Great schedule of classes
I love that there is a sauna steam room and jacuzzi I have a knee injury and back injury so I use them . My main ymca is the 249 cypress I was disappointed that know no longer offer the sauna and steam room and the jacuzzi is always out of service that is the closes ymca to me and that's still a 30 minute drive
Variety of options
I go to the Tellepsen Y only for the deep water aerobics classes led by Mona on Mondays & Wednesdays. She is one of the best teachers I've ever encountered. My knees are arthritic so even the water classes that have people jumping around in the shallow end or the therapy pool cause me pain. But Mona's classes do not cause me any pain. She focuses on her students' technique and form and I know that it's because that is important to build the muscle strength properly. She cares deeply about her students and them doing the exercise properly.
I also go there for water classes because of the indoor pool vs outdoor. Less weather cancellations!
Once I get both knees replaced I may try some other water classes or swim laps, or even try the workout equipment.
Great facilities. probably the best in the city. Great people on staff as well
I come for the lunch basketball games for years even from the old building on Louisiana, my guest love the classes and activities.
Keep me in shape
I recently answered this survey. I like the programs, especially the active older adults. The facility is clean, the staff are very competent and family and encouraging. Parking is available.
Thank you.
Group classes, wonderful instructors
I am a handball player and enjoy the courts.
I am very satisfied with the quality of services provided in the YMCA.
The variety.
Bodyflow and other group exercise classes.
I do my own workout without any classes. Like the great facility and the people.
Many choices, nice facility, friendly staff
I enjoy the swimming pool and the weight room upstairs. It's a large facility so it's never too crowded and the people in the pool area are very respectful with sharing lanes.
I like the proximity to my house and work and the facility is clean and well-maintained. The staff turnover is minimal so I see the same "friends" (Jon, Sheryl, Tiffany) every time I visit on weekdays and Carol when I come in on Saturday.
I wish the Y had earlier Sunday morning hours so I could come in on Sunday, also - even if it was just for limited services (i.e. the Women's Center, etc.)

More late lunch classes...i.e 1:15. More dance classes. Bring back 5:15 cycling classes. Other than that I enjoy the Y
