Tellepsen Y has ample free weights and machines that are well-maintained. The employees are cheerful, helpful and seem genuinely happy to see me. The facilities are always clean. The indoor walking track is a godsend in Houston for when it’s too hot, too cold, or rainy outside. I work in the health/fitness space and recommend this facility constantly.

I mostly just use the cardo equipment/weights by myself, but I always see busy classes and lots of options, which is great.
We love the downtown YMCA. Great programs and love playing pickleball, The gym and the entire facility is very clean too and everyone is so friendly.

The gym is so well cared for. The people who do care for it are so open to questions about the Y and open to ideas about programs. The staff is the best! My wife and I have been hitting the Y on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for over ten years now. We so enjoy the facility AND the wonderful people who care for it.

I love the variety of classes offered and the pool.
The fitness classes are fantastic. Bootcamp on Tuesday/Thursday is particularly great. I also enjoy the Body Pump class. Maintaining those classes is why I stay a member!

There's good variety for those who have C early schedules. And for those of us who are older.

The walking track has changed my life! It’s a respite from the heat and daily stress.
Other than full range of equipment, machines there are staff to assist and answer questions.

The downtown facility is great—it has plenty of equipment and space. It's one of my favorite Houston YMCAs.
