Jonathan (in "camping") was very helpful identifying the available inventory, and how to secure the kayaks we wanted. He was accommodating when we changed our mind about model when we arrived to pick them up. We had never been to the store before, but were very pleased with the service and product selection. We'll be back.

I drive from Bowmanville on a regular basis to find specific outdoor equipment at your store. Your staff is outstanding and very knowledgeable in regards to outdoor adventures and cycling. Years back, there was a young gentleman who worked in the equipment rental dept. who gave me some ideas for some backcountry locations in and around the Kawarthas and I am still canoeing them to this day. Keep up the exemplary service!

When we picked them up, after multiple Covid related delays - during which we recieved regular updates, we were given good assistance in installing J-hooks on our roof tracks, and securely loading the boats on the car.
Local and well stocked. If someone doesn't know the answer they try to find out for you. Love this store!

I bought new hiking boots with a generous gift certificate but forgot the certificate at home.. no worries, we'll put your boots aside for you! No questions asked just gave my name and when I'd be back!! When I returned on Monday, the lovely young lady remembered me and my forgetful story and cheerfully got my boots!! Then proceeded to answer questions about a foot path around Little Lake, gave us a map, and encouraged us to grab a coffee at the cafe among the way. She was truly delightful!! And so was my shopping experience at Wild Rock Outfitters.
