The smiles! People really care about you at our Y!
The Y is more than just a gym. It offers more than just weights and cardio machines. I love the options to take classes without extra fees. The cost for all it offers is great. I also like that I can go to any of the facilities in the Louisville area.
As far as Southeast, the staff is very nice and helpful. The water exercise classes are great. My only complaint the facilities are in need of updating. I volunteer downtown once a week near the downtown YMCA. After my shift, I go to the Y for a workout. Also, my daughter's family are members at the Norton Commons Y. Those facilities have a much cleaner look than the Southeast Y. I hope that soon, we will get a little sprucing up. It's a nice place, and I will still go, because it is closer to my home, and it is clean, but new lockers would be lovely to have. :)

Facility is always clean. The staff is the best. They enjoy their jobs and enjoy helping the members. The Southeast Y feels like family. My favorite place to be is in the pool.
My Y feels like a family and it has the most wonderful staff! They put together some outstanding activities, classes, programs and outings, all in an effort to meet the specific needs of its members. They really give their best every day .

We love pur Southeast Y! The staff greets us everyday with a welcoming smile! we always feel sincere love and belongingness in this place. it is family -oriented, safe, clean and
close to us. we come almost everyday and the kids love this place- just like their fun and recreation place.
they know you personally by name and always has a positive atmosphere in there. We love Kristina, Whitney, Haley, Tricia and mostly everyone that lifeguards! theydo their jobs well and keeps a positive attitude!
