Variety of classes that appeal to maturing senior
Easy parking, not crowded, very nice personnel.
Exercise room had plenty of equipment.
There are not as many classes as NE location.
I love the group fitness classes on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday mornings with Lisa Slusher and Ronisha Hector instructing! All staff are friendly and welcoming.
Friendly staff, nice equipment, and programs
Everyone there is so nice. The facilities are clean and modern. This is my family's happy place to be active!
swimming gym
During the swim lessons, I feel my son didn't learn as much as he should have. The kids were being kids and not paying a lot of attention to what was being taught. My son has ADHD and autism and I wonder if you have classes to fit his needs.
Group fitness classes!
Friendly staff
Close to my house
The staff and group classes and exercise equipment.
Bring back the hand towels, wet hands is not fun
The friendly smiles, the fresh scent, and the equipment!
Hi Southeast YMCA,
I wanted to share a quick update on how much I’ve been enjoying my routine at the Southeast YMCA. It has truly become a second home for me, and the people there are incredible. The staff is always warm and friendly, and the instructors are absolutely phenomenal. My week is packed—from muscle definition with Rae and Jody, Tuesday morning aerobics with Jody, Walk 15 and Forever Fit with Lisa and Jamie, Thursday morning yoga with Rebecca, to lap swimming once or twice a week with a client. What I love most is how much the instructors genuinely care. Jody, Rebecca, and Jamie always keep a close eye on me to make sure my form is correct. As someone who deeply values their expertise to stay safe and avoid injury, it makes a world of difference.Let me know if you ever want to guest pass in with me sometime!
Best,
Ann Davis
Always welcoming atmosphere at Southeast YMCA from staff and members.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and clients.
My wife and I like the variety of programs and exercise opportunities at our level, particularly during mid-morning.
The people are great It will not feel like the ymca without Christina.
Friendly atmosphere at Southeast YMCA.
What I did like best was Christina's management style. She was a hands-on person. She helped me with the Y's billing system. I will always be indebted to her. From an outsider she appeared to be a huge asset.
Cleanliness
affordable and very nice teacher
It has everything I need for my workout and the times available are great.
Everyone is very friendly Always have good parking.
I've been going to Sae YMCA forc20 years and my son grew up going. The people are really nice and helpful. Facility is clean. I wish the members would clean the equipment better but the staff cleans them off also. People are just nasty. What happened to Kristina? She use to greet me with a smile and now I hear she no longer works there.
The variety of classes
Love this place and the employees are the best
Friendly staff makes me feel welcome from the moment I walk in. I like the opportunity to have a personal trainer, and have learned a great deal from her. I don’t love the Y’s elliptical machines. They seem built for large people. I’m 4’10” and your ellipticals are just not a good fit for me. I have my own at home, but when going to workout at the Y, I’d like to use yours for a complete workout. And as long as I’m offering suggestions…it needs to be cooler in the cardio area. Thanks for listening!
Being able to book a swim lane with the app
Awesome classes. Everyone can participate . Caring
