Hrs open and close and the pool
Everything! Great facility. One thing that stands out are the treadmills that are like virtual reality. You can ‘travel’ the world. Very cool and kept me running!
Racquetball courts, strength training machines.

There are plenty of machines. There is always space to do what you need to do.

Love going but I live 20 miles from the Y. Wish they would reopen the Bullitt County Y.
The classes snd friendliness of staff
The pool is clean and you can always get a lane to swim in.
The Executive Director is always friendly and willing to discuss any concerns you may have.

sense of community
I was impressed with Tee. He educated me on the activities offered during my first visit and walk through at the YMCA Downtown Louisville location. Tee started from the 7th floor and I had no idea this YMCA location offered seven floors of useful space. As a result I came back that evening for the water fitness class with Leslie, it was amazing. The same week, I signed up for the Smart Start Program with Jon and attended his Yoga class. I am very confident that I will be able to meet my goals with the custom workout plan. I had driven by this location for years and did not stop in to see what they had to offer versus the other locations. My circumstances changed which led me to check out the downtown Louisville YMCA and I am glad that I did. Thank you to everyone working there.
