I love the seasonal spin class! The equipment is in good condition, and the facility looks clean. I can make a suggestion though. I recommend playing more modern music choices during the cardio classes.
The friendly staff, of course! Besides that, the incredible variety the downtown y has is a big draw for us. We took our kids to play racquetball, then mom and daughter worked out together in the women's center, and dad and sons used the track and 7th floor equipment. It was a fun, fit evening for all seven of us, thanks to the y.

Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Convenient location. Parking garage fee is very reasonable.
The only thing needs to improve is the temperature water in the pool need to be warmer.

The location. I live downtown and it is walkable. The downtown Y is one of the best things about living or working downtown. I also like the full array of equipment - cardio, weight/strength, etc.

best bargain and professional club in town don't understand why everyone would not join.
FYI; rates are not in line with competition / suggest you layer your cost. find a fee that is competitive with competition no need to pay for basket ball courts or pool or racket courts if your not going to use them. no reason to have to pay $50,000 + for director you can hire capable people for much less . i never met a director that is worth his or her pay so you could save a ton of money there you could probably find volunteers for a lot of the jobs just for membership.

The Downtown YMCA is clean and well-maintained. The staff are helpful and communicative. The environment is friendly and welcoming and facilitates community and friendship between members and visitors.
