I just constantly appreciate the friendliness of the staff - I’m sure I’m the thousandth person to walk in each day, but their cheeriness hasn’t wavered yet!
Would be great if y’all could replace the 15lb dumbbells on the strength machine floor though!
I love the group classes. The membership fee is so affordable and I get so much out of it. I also like the welcoming and safe atmosphere. Having a women’s only section of the gym is great, but even outside that area I’ve never been gawked at or subjected to unwelcome comments, whereas my friends who go to Planet Fitness and other gyms have told me they’ve experienced that multiple times. I wish the downtown Y had some weekday morning classes around 7:00 AM. I do miss the variety of classes that were offered at the downtown Y prior to COVID, but I also understand there may be lower attendance at the downtown Y since so many people work from home now post-COVID. Overall though, I love the Y and I always recommend it to any friends who are looking for an affordable gym.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcomed. Lane is an excellent masseuse; very knowledgeable. Tanika is an incredible trainer. The facilities and equipment are good.

The accommodations are first rate and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. For the money charged the YMCA is an incredible value. The Y provides a terrific service for the community and is well worth the investment. Happy to be a long time member and supporter.
