The convenience of it being on site. There a many options to choose from so that workouts won't become boring. I also like that's there's a friendly helpful stall available at all times to assist when needed.
Staff are very friendly, facility is always clean, I can reserve a lane at the pool, and best of all, NO MUSIC blaring at me, which drove me away from two gyms!

I like that there are lots of convenient locations & great classes.
I like the Cove but wish Louisville had a bigger outdoor pool with diving boards like the Cincinnati Blue Ash YMCA does.
I also think it would be nice if the Downtown YMCA offered shower facilities to the homeless for 30 minutes after the Y closes on Sundays (like community services you offered during COVID).
I always feel encouraged by my trips to Y! Friendly and supportive staff, great facility.
Safe place for my son
I go to the noon classes, body pump and cycling. These are great classes with wonderful and knowledgeable instructors. They make it enjoyable and worthwhile.
The warm, welcoming environment. The atmosphere is great. The stuff is always willing to assist you with whatever you need. If it's showing you how to work a machine or answering any personal questions/needs.

Cleanliness, friendly staff, workout classes
Love the swim instructor, Antoinette. She is so good with the kids and makes them feel comfortable. They really like her a lot. I only wish the classes were a little longer. A lot of times, it seems by the time they get really started, class is over. Maybe an hour long class would be a bit better?

Friendly staff clean gym and easy access.
The "y" has all types of cardio and strength training equipment. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and engaging. The "Y" has about anything you could ask for in a gym, and it is only 100 ft from where I work, so I clock out and make the 100' trek across the drive and I am ready to go. I love it!!

Friendly an makes u feel wanted there. Now the one that's on 9th an chestnut!! I would never tell anyone to go too! There very very rude as well not welcoming an I myself will never step foot back until they change their workers..
The Downtown Y is very close to where I live. The exercise options and classes are important to me and to my husband.
Clean, the locker rooms are nice and kept clean. Staff is friendly and there is a wide variety of classes/equipment.
