The Benbrook YMCA is a very affirming, effective fitness center with community-like vibes. While our culture increasingly divides into isolated sub-groups, the Y welcomes all ages, genders, races, faiths, ehthic bakcgrounds, etc. It is a clean, safety-conscious facility available at affordable costs with a large selection of sports & programs. As a senior female I feel safe inside & in the parking lot even when it's dark. The very positive & helpful staff is receptive to feedback & open to new ideas. Good works for the community are sponsored & encouraged year-round not just for holidays without pressure to participate. I am blessed to belong!

Pickleball, best place!
I have not taken advantage of most of the offerings, but it's nice to know they are available when I am ready. The YMCA is near me and convenient to use.
Love the facility. The staff could be a little more friendly ! I thing especially at night .. You should not start the greeting with we will be closing in 50 minutes .. A hello .. or nice to see you would be nice.. We are paying for the service .. Friendliness is most important . Thank you

The pool!
I enjoy the Silver Sneakers and Active Older Adults activities. This Y, however, is getting very crowded with recent closures of other area YMCAs. This Y needs to be enlarged to accommodate larger classes, add more classes, and fulfill the needs of community members.

The YMCA is a great place to spend time with my kids. They are 13 and 10, respectively. I appreciate the warm greetings and the friendliness of the YMCA staff. I also really like the indoor pool, the numerous options for workout/weight machines.
While I can understand that the Barracudas and other parents use the YMCA as their training facility, this leaves the pool open for swim at inconvenient times for families. I work until 3pm on most days and am not able to take my daughter to the pool conveniently. Saturdays are also not the best days, as the pool is closed mostly for training/swim class.
All in all, the Y is a great place to take the family. I'll be a member for a long time.

I LIKE THAT THEY HAVE AN INDOOR POOL AND BASKETBALL COURT. THE STAFF IS VERY FREIENLY.

I only use the treadmill and some of the weight machines. But it's good that these are usually available.
I don't like that the rate of people cleaning off a machine after use is easily the lowest of any of three YMCAs I have visited in the Fort Worth area, much worse than at Hood County and a less than at Ryan Family. A lack of cleaning wipes is one issue. Bad placement of the wipe dispensers is another.
I appreciate the Silver Sneakers program; also the opportunity to work out on the machines, and sometimes, walk the indoor track. It's a friendly place!
