What made the difference was Graham McLennan. He gave me the time to go over my bike that had not been serviced in a while. He broke down all the parts and why he needed to replace them, and what each would cost, along with the labor. Not only that but his follow-on email was also important. Specifically, he had said he would look into available suspension forks for my old diamond back frame and did indeed look into it and give me concise valuable information. I am definitely coming back to your store because of Graham.
On the improvement side... I felt a disconnect between the servicing department and commercial sales insofar as the "customer experience". Not quite sure how to pin it but I was with my kids and willing/interested in buying a bike for them but it did not materialize.
On another note, picking up my bike was a somewhat orthogonal experience to dropping it off with Graham. The gentleman who helped us out said ZERO other than: "do you have any questions?". Whereas I felt that Graham had my best interests in mind (and valued the opportunity of helping me with my 1990s sentimental diamondback frame), your service person at pickup was purely transactional and did not offer any information. Fortunately Graham had it covered in his initial conversation which allowed me to check the bike for the work that was done. Note for future reference: customer experience includes drop off and pick up if you want to have customers coming back for future servicing... you have Graham so I'm coming back, but you could be even better.
I went in to fix my son's flat tire and the gentleman was so nice and fixed it so he could ride that day! I was very impressed with their customer service

I love Landry's/Norwood, MA location. Their staff is so friendly and professional. They're not just retail associates - they really REALLY know what they're talking about. I brought my leisure bike in for tuning and the drop off and pick-up process was a breeze. My bike was even completed before the expected due date - including my new chain.
Great location - especially if you're a Dunkin's fan - pick up your hot java right across the street!!! Landry's has a great array of supplies and bikes and should be a stop when shopping for your biking needs!!

I had my bike serviced. The intake was professional. The person explained what the concerns were and was upfront about the services needed, the costs, and the turnaround time. My only complaint is I had to wait a bit to get someone to help. But honestly, I liked that each customer got the person's full attention and was not rushed. So this is a bit a non-issue.
The work was actually completed five days ahead of the promised date. The bike works like a charm. Very happy.
