Among the positives is bike knowledge, no pressure and really getting to know the customer, ME! I really enjoyed the experience with this two man crew inside the store. I am the type of person who does a lot of research on a product to really understand the ins and outs of my purchase. They were very helpful to clue me in to the right purchase for what I am intending to do with my bicycle. At first, I was leaning towards a mountain bike because I am from Colorado, had experience with a different mountain bike brand there and thought that a fork shock would be a good way to go because of my previous experience. I couldn't have been more wrong and Dean gently explained why. Moving to Florida and doing commuting and light trails meant that I should steer away from a mountain bike because it wouldn't be as comfortable as what I was previously doing with my Gary Fisher mountain bike. I test rode a mountain bike and two other hybrid bikes and instantly felt the difference. Eventually I settled on a Verve 3 Disc. After two days of usage and more than 40 miles of riding, I can see why I was gently nudged to this purchase instead of a mountain bike. Bottomline Positives: Trek Bicycle engineering, Dean's Bicycle Wisdom and Trek Warranty.
