The Giant e-bike that I recently purchased from the store has had some serious problems. It had a bad speed sensor that had to be replaced and a problem with the derailleur that has required 3 more trips to the repair shop. Although I was and am NOT happy that a brand new and not inexpensive bike would have so many problems, the staff at Ski and Bike Kare were friendly, courteous, and helpful. They tried hard to fix the problems, one of which required getting the manufacturer to send a new part. I was not charged for any of their work on the bike. I hope that all the problems are now resolved, and I will use them for annual maintenance.

You guys are awesome. . ..I was in Steamboat for several days and the freehub (or related part) on my Trek EXe broke. .stressful! ...I was so fortunate that you had it in stock. I walked in to the sales floor, and they promptly directed me to the service department, where the shop owner's son, I recall Willy (?), gave me and my repair needs immediate attention. I was so fortunate that you had the "not everyday" part in stock, and was bike was fixed in about an hour. I had the chance to meet and talk with the Shop Owner - can't recall his name This is exactly the experience one hopes of and for in a bike shop - let alone for a guy visiting, vs an in-town resident. On top of all my great experience, Willy (again, not sure of his name), completed all the warranty request to Trek for the part, which Trek subsequently authorized. I was totally appreciative; thank you again!

Super knowledgeable about fitting ski boots to a skier's feet. I came to the store after several attempts to have my custom-fitted boots (purchased elsewhere) feel good. Ski and Bike Kare took time to diagnose the problem with the boots, molded a perfect footbed, and I skied pain-free for the first time in years. Their professionalism and friendliness are absolutely first-rate -- the best in Steamboat.
