I have bought both my bicycles from Holland's. It is not the closest shop to my house, and I certainly had the choice to purchase from other bike shops, or from the internet, or REI. However, the people who work at Holland's are amazing. They really care about helping you get the bike that is right for you, and then they make sure it's set up exactly how you need or want it. Jacob helped me this time, and he started by asking me what kind of riding I did, how I wanted to use the bike, and if I had any special needs that would influence the type of bike I'd ride. I had decided on a Townie-go 8D EQ e-bike, and he confirmed that it would be a good bike for my needs. He listened to what I wanted to do to customize it to exactly what I needed, and wrote notes about it, and emailed it to me to be sure he hadn't missed anything. I also ordered a bike rack for my car from him. When I arrived to the shop on the day he said it would be ready, he had the bike, and the bike rack all set up. He then helped adjust the bike to fit just right, and added on things I requested: a mirror, bell, a more comfortable seat, better handlebar grips, my old basket from previous bike. He reviewed all the details about how to use the assist mode, handle the battery and charger, how the lights and computer worked; he was incredibly patient, as none of this was intuitive for me. Then, he had another employee help me with my bike rack (I forget his name, but he was also super patient and helpful.) He had to make some adjustments to the rack that were rather time-consuming, but he did it enthusiastically, and made sure all was perfect! He explained how to use the rack, and had me put the bike on it to be sure I got it right.
Overall, the complete experience with Holland's Bikes, from my first phone call, to ordering my bike (and rack) to picking it up was A+! I will recommend them to everyone! Thanks for such wonderful service!

One of only a few shops in the country that had a size small Como 5.0. I called from 400 miles away on Sunday to get this bike for my significant other. I talked to Joe who got the bike built up for our midday arrival on Monday. The bike was ready and Jacob (aka Bojac) helped us and spent over an hour with us teaching us the new E-bike. Exceptional service, super friendly and knowledgeable. I'm a bit of a bikefit nut and he showed me there entire high end bikefit room. Great experience - highly recommended.
