Finding the right bicycle and fit are extremely important to me, as I see it as an important investment in Happy Me. The salesman who helped me really listened, and heard me. He watched while I rode the test bicycles first in the parking lot to see how my reach was, my seat height, and how my hands and wrists were positioned for the handlebars.
He took the bicycle I thought was the best fit, but needed "tweaking" into the work area to have the technicians make the needed adjustments, then had me test again, and continued to do that until we found the right fit adjustments; the right handlebar angle adjustment and grips, seat height, and water bottle cage position for ease of reach while I'm riding.
They were all so helpful, so nice and friendly, knowledgeable and considerate, and best of all... helped me find my fun and excellent bicycle for many years to come! When I came back in with my bicycle after a few months of riding to have them just check all to make sure all was in good "humming" order and to adjust one of the handle grips, they were as attentive, respectful, friendly, and helpful as the first time I went in looking to buy. I definitely value this bicycle shop and its helpful employees...and their great bicycles they offer! Ten Stars!

Super friendly! I came in with an issue late in the day and they fixed it within a half hour, which I was not expecting! Even when it seemed busy in there. Great staff, my bike is in much better shape now.

I have been biking for more then 50 years. Never gave a thought of having a Professional bike fitting. I just acquired a Vintage 2004 TREK 5500 Road Bike I want to pair with my Wahoo KICKR CORE Trainer. I rode my new set up for a hour and was in pain because I was not fitted properly.
I was told by Thomas, my George's tech at the State street store, that a bike fitting would really help. So I scheduled a Comprehensive 2D Bike Fit with VIDEO ANALYSIS on April 8, 2021 with Ben Stein, MS,EP-C. After 2 hours of VIDEO ANALYSIS Ben discovered that I needed a new wider comfortable seat, a new stem, new inserts for my bike shoes. Then adjusted my position on the seat and handlebars for proper pedal alignment. What a difference!
I thought that I may have picked the wrong bike! But it was the Professional Bike Fitting that made everything work and fit perfect. It was the best $175 (Plus parts) I ever spent for myself and my bike. Sincerely, Ted Cray
This was my first visit since the "new" ownership. I am impressed (and relieved) that everything is at least as good (and perhaps better) than before. The turnaround on my tire replacement was impressive.
