I do like about most classes but I wish yoga and plates classes has more younger instructors. It was little bit disappointed. But Mostly all the employees are very nice and I really liked dry sauna. I wish you have much bigger shower room. Thanks
Personnel are very friendly, and ready to answer questions. The facilities are clean, and there are a variety of classes offered at reasonable time.

We like the family atmosphere, the pool, the weight room** and classes*
*we used to take spinning classes at the Dancel Y, but our favorite instructors no longer teach there, so we now take classes at the Catonsville Y (a friendlier Y). The Dancel Y policies on their spinning classes are either senseless or make it difficult (in addition to the instructor issue). Having the spin room door locked 24/7 is inconvenient. Now allowing someone into class after it has started when there are open bikes makes no sense (not a health and safety issue).
** there is very little understanding about proper weight room behavior. Sitting on machines between sets would never be tolerated in a legit gym, yet it happens all the time at the Y. hogging free weights and not allowing other to 'work in' would also not be tolerated.
The staff is super friendly and helpful. Love the fitness equipment also!

I don't like the bikes and neither do plenty of other people.
I like the various class offerings for adults and children. It is great that so many of the adult classes are free! I hope that soon some of the class offerings for children will be offered for free.
Everyone is friendly the equipment is clean and the atmosphere is very good!

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The gym has hand sanitizers to help prevent spread of germs and the members are helpful in assisting with decisions of classes to take and how to best benefit from them.
Personal trainer Rudy does amazing job training me and focused on areas I need.

We love the Y! It is a wonderful family-friendly place. The staff are always so nice. The faculty is well maintained. We also like the fact that we can use different YMCAs around the country.
