We loved Miss Elena! She was well prepared to teach the course, kind and engaging with our kids, and provided helpful feedback for continued learning. The one downside was that it felt like a lot of time got used up with kids who were rowdy/not sitting in their seats, so I wonder if having a teaching assistant would be a helpful way to allow the main instructor focus on each kid individually for exercises, while the assistant could ensure that the other kids are waiting their turns safely. But overall, we loved this course and look forward to more at the Y.
I always feel welcome, good clean facility and people
Great swim class loved the intensive nature of combining down to one week . Just wish we had had the opportunity to make up the two classes missed due to storms but the weather did not cooperate. I think with two more classes we would have seen great improvements. Also for busy families it's actually a lot easier to compress into a week of the summer and just have one busy week than I we time. Would love to have more one week classes in the future.
Our overall experience with the Y has been positive. The swim program has provided my son with a structured and supportive environment to build his confidence and water-safety skills at his own pace. I appreciate the variety of programs offered and would recommend the Y to families looking for activities that promote learning, physical activity, and personal growth.

Employees are very professional and welcoming at the door. Not only is it a cool gym with great tools to get fit, it's also' a place of peace.

Tish’s Zumba Gold class was excellent. And she’s a bright happy presence to be around. Very kindly welcomed me. What a lovely lady. And a great instructor. Nice to see someone smile like she does.

I do wish there were a few signs to tell people to not rest/scroll on their phones while on the weight equipment. Some people do that really long, hogging the equipment

The staff are courteous & helpful. You don’t blare music into the facility. It offers a good variety of classes. They take good care of the equipment. I can usually find a time when it is not too crowded.
Chair yoga classes. Teachers Carrie and Vanessa are outstanding teachers.
Catonsville Y is welcoming and offers a variety of classes. Members are friendly and it's a comfortable place to exercise and socialize. I'd like to see a bit more daytime variety in classes and also limits placed on participants in certain classes. I stopped to going to a Fri class that I really enjoyed due to the overcrowding and members who continued to come in after capacity sign placed on door.
I love the people that work there and the people that are members. All of the programs are high quality and community centered.

I love going to the Catonsville Y because it feels like home. There's plenty of parking, associates are nice and helpful and there are various classes.
We enjoy the swimming lesson and my child love going to swim lesson and instructor is very polite and cooperative. I love to join next session for my kid.
