Feedback:
-very dusty walls in front of treadmills
-sun shines straight into face on a few treadmills, invest in pull down shade
-signs around weight machines in cardio rooms stating that folks cannot sit there and get all of their reps in. Do a rep, get up so someone else can use machine, and go back. People will sit there on their phone for up to 20 minutes, and for machines where there is only one (like the add/abbductor), that is problematic
-must update schedule outside of room and online with information on when kids or personal training sessions are taking place and room is closed. I've set up countless times only to be told to leave because there is a session that wasn't listed on the paper or online schedule

The Ellicott City Y has finally added water walking on the warm pool schedule.
I enjoy the eater fitness classes, but wish they were more scheduled either mid-morning or in the afternoon. I have gone to the Aqua Arthritis class, but would prefer something more robust. Also, the ladies locker room needs a good cleaning, and the spinner for bathing suits needs repair.
But I do love the Y, the staff and the comraderie.

From the amazing gentleman who greets you when you come in to the instructors, I aabsolutely love the Y. I was a member of Lifetime Fitness for 16 years. I switched over to the Y in December of 2025 and I am 10 minutes from my local Y and I could not be happier. Thanks
The Catonsville Y is conveniently located, the staff is friendly and helpful, it has the facilities and operating hours that meet my needs, and the membership fee is reasonable. I feel good about belonging to the Y because it makes Catonsville a better place to live.
