We had a wonderful experience but noticed that the teams could be mixed up a little more. Some teams had all new girls while others had been playing together for some time. Also I think they should add a couple players more to each team because we had to loan a player or borrow on a couple occasions. Need to account for the fact that there will be weekend that the whole team won’t be present. We are waitlisted currently and would love to play for winter. I’m a little confused because last season some teams were lacing at the games.
The fact that all kids play!! Most of these kids that were unknowingly given devices prior to the research being public do not know how to socialize or live life outside… I appreciate the ymca, the entire staff and volunteers who make it happen.

Coach Leger has gone above and beyond with our kids in their trainings, practices and games, motivating them and teaching them discipline, team spirit and resilience. Were very happy with soccer at the YMCA!
Great learning experience for kids!
It’s been great for my daughter. She loves the 9-11 volleyball. My only complaint is the teams need to be larger. Often times, not all team members can make the games and there aren’t enough players for each team. I hear there is a waitlist for the next season. I think they need to put 2-3 more players on each team when it’s an option. Not every player can make every game and the Y should account for a higher % not attending.
The staff is very nice and welcoming each time we are there.
My daughter's coach for the Net Ninja VB team is super nice and you can tell he really enjoys coaching.

It’s such a great program for my new volleyball player! The coaches are great, and all the kids are so kind and encouraging to each other. It has been so fun to watch the growth in my daughter in her first two seasons!

My Tristan has enjoyed the basketball group. The coaches care about him and he responds to their coaching both in game and in his choices at school. He has reduced his issues at school and formed bonds with local kids.

All is well at the New Tampa Y. Only faults I experience there are the equipment slammers and the exercise leaders that scream loudly into their microphones.
Good staff. Clean locker rooms and restrooms. Machines maintained well.
