I enjoy the water aerobics and fitness classes best of all. I've made some great friendships and we've begun exploring other classes at different sites because we just can't get enough of the classes and each other.

We enjoy the overall community feeling at the Austin Y. On a regular basis we use the tread mills, the weight room equipment, sauna, and pool.
I love the friendly, inclusive environment and the yoga/pilates classes. Hope to get into aqua aerobics when I retire.

I wish there was more Masters swimming during child care hours but not work hours
We like the exercise classes like Senior Fitness, Spin Cycle and Pilates. We also use the weight and cardio machines at least once a week. And the pool for laps. We love seeing friends there and visiting after classes. And of course knowing our fees and donations support the outreach efforts of the YMCA, building families and helping those in need.

I love the Y because it is affordable, inclusive, and has plenty of equipment. I rarely have to wait for a bike or the treadmill. The only program I participate in is Yoga with Elizabeth Doss. I'm 79 and have been doing Yoga for 40 years. Elizabeth is the best teacher I have ever had. She is knowledgable, professional, and kind. She makes an effort to get to know everyone the in her classes, and has a way of making everyone feel comfortable, welcome, and special. Her classes are fun. I look forward to going, and never look at the clock. She creates such a warm, accepting atmosphere, a community. We work hard and laugh a lot.
