He has done an amazing job of building a team, and he strikes a perfect balance between making swim practice fun and focused. His passion for the sport and for coaching is clear and he gives his best to the kids every time. Chris is an extraordinary asset to the Townlake Y!

The variety of classes is tremendous! The instructors are all wonderful: more than competent and very professional in delivering instruction and inspiring us to challenge ourselves. The staff up front is always courteous, helpful, and friendly.

The thing I love most about the Y is that there is a very real sense of community. Every time I leave the Y I have a smile on my face. Not just from the post-workout endorphins, but from the interactions with everyone I see that day.

I love that there are so many classes to choose from and that the Y is very inclusive! The instructors I have taken classes with have been great!
I like the naditorium and the yoga classes. Lifeguard Willy makes everyone feel welcome and keeps things organized on deck. I also really appreciate all of the lifeguards who open the pool at 5:30 am on weekdays!!
I'm a big fan of the ladies swim in Sunday mornings. I hope your can find some more female lifeguards to restart it in October :)
And I love the enthusiasm of Danny the greeter who works in the front. He's always got a big smile.

PS: Please consider updating your online calendar to show that the swim lessons don't end until 1 pm on Sunday. The calendar shows that five lanes open for open swim at noon, but that was not the case last Sunday. Thanks!

So far the swimming class has been great (only one class in but it was quickly adapted to individual goals and I loved that). Equipment is nicely kept and relatively new.

I like the efficiency of the staff and like the walking machines as well as the swimming pool. Wish the pool area could be kept cleaner.
I like the variety of classes you can take and the variety of equipment downstairs. I just saw all the new squat racks for the first time and am excited to try them out!
The variety of activities and equipment at Townlake YMCA mean that there is something for everyone at any time of the day. The staff are attentive and friendly, too! I love the feeling of total relaxation I get at the Townlake YMCA.
Dedicated weight room was awesome! Cardio floor was beautiful and well kept. The locker room was a bit smelly, however. But for the price, it’s all good.
