inclusive community. good facilities and strong quality personnel
overall - tremendous spirit of and focus on health and wellness in its highest forms
atmosphere, friendly knowledgeable staff, variety of programs, cleanliness (although women's locker room can always be improved!), size of pool, proximity to town lake, counseling/senior programs/childcare (breadth of health and wellness programs).....
Hours, open times, variety of equipment, and awesome trainers
Sounds like a cliché, but seriously, there is something for everyone at this Y. And the staff could not be more welcoming.
I love the variety. I would like to see more gentle yoga classes.
Every thing is always fantastic, and helpful and positive !!!!!!!!
Many choices! Pleasant people. Clean.
Fantastic Pilates class - First name removed is a great teacher and really engages the class.
The people who attend the Y and the people who work there are all very friendly. There is a wide variety of classes that are great fun too. Free coffee if you wish to cool down and have a chat with other people sitting around in the lounge area.
I especially like the Yoga class taught by Elizabeth on Tuesday night. She is an amazing teacher, warm, welcoming, fun, and a very talented teacher, knows her stuff.
What I like about the Y is that it is so inclusive and inexpensive enough for most people. I like the diversity.
I like the friendliness of the people at the front desk.
I like the fact that I always get the treadmill a bike without waiting.
What I don't like is that the Yoga blankets are not washed often enough.

We enjoy the overall community aspect of the Town Lake Y. The location is outstanding. We can run the trail around Town Lake and finish our workout at the Y. The staff at the front desk is very friendly. We do not currently attend any of the organized programs or activities.
As a side note, we take advantage of the National Y membership. We travel to different cities and states and are able to continue our workout routine by leveraging our Y membership.
We really enjoy your AquaYoga. Scheduling seems to be a problem. A consensus of those attending would prefer a 8am over the 9am class.
Love the people and facilities
Loved the teacher, Elizabeth, who taught the yogalates class. This was my first time and I felt very welcomed.
Welcoming, diverse, a very Austin place. Decent equipment and plenty of it. Only drawback -- a big one -- is the windowless, bathroom-less (for women) weight room downstairs.
Addition of pickleball has been wonderful. All three courts are full every time and with many more people waiting on the sidelines. Adding more days/times would be wonderful!!!
*classes are varied and new classes (short sessions) are added now and then
*instructors are friendly and knowledgeable
*downstairs weight room is clean, orderly, and has a good selection of equipment
*I love the live music on Friday’s
Great selection of classes & amazing teachers
Plenty of facilities kept in repair and up to date. Good array of classes with good instructors.
I love the teachers and yoga and tai chi best- Very fun and helpful.
Love rhythmic spin class and open swim!!
A clean, happy place. So happy to see all of Austin welcome here.

The Town Lake YMCA is more than a great gym. It's a community that I'm proud to be a part of.
Great instructors
Love all the programs offered and the great expertise and commitment of all the instructors.
I do miss reading the Bible at the lobby.
I love the group classes. I go to Body Pump several days a week and I don't know what I'd do without it!
I love having so many activity and program choices. Which ones to choose?
I really enjoy working out with weights, and the heavy bags. Then relaxing in dry hot room, steam room, and hot water whirlpool.
Ooh! Yeah! Ah!
:)
P.S. Plus interacting with the well nature members, and very friendly staff. The YMCA is a great community to be a part of.

The variety of equipment.
