I like that there are classes first thing in the morning.
The Town Lake is unique. All the members and the trainers are warm, friendly and connected. It is beside a place to train, a place you meet and visit with family. You know everybody, you smile, great, ask how they are.
I have only just joined so I’ve only tried the yoga and Pilates classes. I like that There are yoga classes gentle enough for older or injured people. Yoga studios in town that I’ve vusited are mostly geared toward very fit young people. I like the diversity of age and ability in the classes. So far all the teachers are great!
Your staff is very friendly and professional. The variety of programs that you offer are great!
The community.
Organized but fun activities. Just the right amount of both
All of them
I enjoy the pool.
The staff and people there are all amazing and super friendly!
proximity, time of class, option for using treadmills
P.S. However, I wish you would somehow put clear directions on the treadmills on how to access the tv. I'm sure it's simple but it's not obvious enough for me.
Every yoga teacher is wonderful!
I like how the folks greet us at 5:30 each morning to open the doors to work out! I love having Daniel greet us too.
I wish we had more machines like AMT 8 , 9 and 10 in the Town Lake Cardio Room. Some times they are the first machines picked and there aren't enough for those who like them. I think they break down more because each of them is getting more use than other machines in the Cardio Room.
I like how clean the facilities are kept and how diverse the people I see there are.
I regularly do Body Pump and I love the teachers at the SW YMCA even though I'm less than a mile from Town Lake. Some of our Town Lake teachers are great and others don't know how to keep a beat or make us value the challenge!
Group exercise and positive atmosphere!
My husband & I joined the YMCA almost a year ago. Since that time, we've been attending the Body Pump classes several times a week. The instructors are great! They are all different from each other, and they are all enthusiastic and very encouraging. I thought it would be difficult to feel engaged in large classes (attendance typically varies from about 10 to up to 40 or 50 people), but I have been pleasantly surprised at how attuned each instructor seems to be to each participant's performance.
I've never been in better physical condition than I am right now (at age 60!), and I am grateful to the Y for helping me reach this state of good health.
Great location and friendly staff.
Friendly staff. Has a warm environment. Everyone seems like family
Personal training and finding a group to share personal training with
coach jones (soccer age 3-5) is the best!
Welcoming atmosphere and personal attention of all staff.:)
Great fun for the kids!
Coach is great! Also, organization and communication is excellent from program.
friendly and helpful staff.
I like the indoor pool at Town Lake Y, and the option for an outdoor swim at other locations. I like the variety of yoga classes offered and have enjoyed the spin classes.
Excellent equipment, steam room, Jacuzzi
I like the fact that I see many people with disabilities at my local YMCA. It gives me a good feeling that, even when I can't get to the Y myself, my support of my local Y goes to an organization that so many can enjoy.

Livestrong and our instructors. Fantastic. I actually live closer to the Y on 290, but co.e to Townlake because of the instructors.
