I feel safe and comfortable working out exercising at the YMCA.
I joined the YMCA to work out in the pool. I have two bad knees and need the very low impact. The pools are great! The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I think I have been to all the aqua classes now and loved them all. The instructors have all been very helpful and welcoming. In fact every person I've met here has been so nice.
Good instructors,very helpful and friedly
The facility is well laid out and the Child Watch staff are absolute heroes who helped me greatly with working through my toddler's separation anxiety. Thanks to Andy, Olha, and more staff than I can enumerate my daughter has blossomed in just a few months from terrified of being left with others to positively enjoying her time at Child Watch!
I am so thankful for the assistance rendered by these ladies. I am confident that when I send her to preschool this next time she is prepared for success. Thank you Child Watch staff for your effort and patience, you have absolutely liberated me and readied her for school!
Large variety of classes and activities for improved health.
The prople
Great location. Clean.

I like to swim and use the hot tub and sauna. Pleased to be able to bring my grandson.
I only use the YMCA for my lap swimming-I’ve logged and recorded 7,550 miles and the majority of those miles have been swum in the SW YMCA pool
At this time I only swim
Lap swimming in the outdoor pool!
I like the group classes. Would like more classes on saturdays, especially cardio dance funk and extended evening hours! I work 06:45 am to 7:30 pm so it's hard to get there on my work days.
I've only had one negative experience. I took zumba a few weeks ago with Heba and i didn't like her teaching style. There was 3 of us who hadn't taken the class and she would like scowl and mimic us not doing the moves right and then would do the moves right with a big smile. She kept trying to make us be all peppy and say wooo and i'm just not that type of person. I felt really embarrassed and judged and left early after her doing the mimicking thing like 4 times. I'll never take a class with her again.
I love everything at the Y! Great instruction from our instructors! Everyone is super friendly and helpful! I would recommend anyone that wants community and friends to come on down!
Rebecca who teaches yoga
I feel very welcomed when I come in the door, and everyone is happy to help and answer questions. I like the elliptical machines because they measure my output and heart rate. The pool is great too!
I don’t actually involve these but one to one private is what thank for ! I happy for it
The variety that’s offered! Something for all age groups.
Very family-centric; availability of child watch. A large variety of activities.
We love the childcare facilities! Our daughter has so much fun. It’s active, staff is engaged, and very well kept. It gives us peace of mind while we try to get some exercise in.
Cycling. Smitha Sebastain is an exemplary instructor—knowledgeable, encouraging and delightful.
Addition of Aqua Zumba and excellent Barre and Pilates instructor, I just wish te classes start a bit sooner
we couldnt think more highly of the staff at the southwest Y - it keeps us coming back almost daily. the director, andi, is phenomenal. she is professional, hardworking, personable, and leads through serving others. i have seen her step in and help when areas are understaffed numerous times. she knows members by name and will step away from a busy day to invest in building rapport with members & staff. she invests in others and it has blessed our family beyond measure. we also think the world of the children's staff and director, kathy. it is a blessing to know when we bring our three children to the Y that they are not being sat in front of a screen, but being taught new things, creating crafts, playing with educational toys, running outside, and making friends. special shout out to all the childcare workers and their hardwork and patience, especially ms. elizabeth and ms. kathy. lastly the programs coordinator hailey is always always serving the community and kids. i see her tirelessly teaching, leading, and helping others through camps, programs, and events. if i haven't reiterated it enough, we love the southwest ymca and are so thankful for the incredible people who work there - y'all are truly the best of the best!
All are welcome. Positive enviroment. Recreational focus for the young players rather than competition eclipsing it. I enjoyed meeting new families.
This fall soccer season was our first sports experience with the YMCA SW location. It could not have been better! Coach Brian was incredible and most of the refs were engaging and fun. We'll definitely be back for more seasons!
the programs and facilities are the best!
Low pressure and fun way to introduce my kids to various sports. The affordable cost also makes me feel better when my kids end up not liking the sport :)
Coaches, affordability, schedule, good sportsmanship

The Y has really great people working over there and I've met some great men and women too.
