Everything
varied activities throughout the week. I liked the adaptive classes while they were taking place. There are not a lot of options for people with disabilities in Austin.
Anthony is a great trainer. Really enjoy his sessions.
Good variety!
Love the outdoor pool and the friendly staff.
My kids love that we are part of the YMCA. They have learned to swim and joined soccer this year. They also really like going to Child Watch. My husband and I like the gym and pools.
Easy to participate
There is a wider variety of activities than just signing up for a gym and at a much more reasonable cost. I like the yoga and water activities.
I can join a class by an app.
Friendly staff, instructors are approachable, I enjoy the classes .
We have had a great experience with the staff/instructors
Love the YMCA experience at the southwest Austin Y - plenty of programs and activities!
I love the outdoor pool and the staff associated with the pool.
There are a variety of activities for all ages listed at various times. If one doesn't want a class, then there are machines and the outside pool open for indivual exercise.
My kids enjoy programs at ymca
The programs here appeal to ALL ages and skill levels. There are also exceptionally qualified instructors, very clean equipment and activity rooms, and regular people who want to improve their health. It's not at all like your typical gym. It's a safe and welcoming space where everyone feels welcome and supported.

Great facility, excellent youth sports coaching, inclusive and welcoming, clear communications
My wife and I presently do weights and use the pool a bit.
Nice staff. Clean facilities.
clean and properly maintained facility
I wrote a note on the last day of my stroke clinic class about the wonderful teacher who was our sub that day. Wonderful teacher! The course was just what I needed. I am recovering from foot and knee surgery and needed to have my stroke corrected to help me heal and recover. Thank you!
Group classes, exercise equipment, friendly atmosphere.
It’s a good value and the facilities are really nice. The instructor was patient, knowledgeable and kind!
It’s fun. Instructors are good. Good variety of classes.
I love the senior gentle yoga classes. Rebecca is the best!
Also, I am always impressed with how clean the facility is.
Paige was so kind and patient with my daughter. She was the perfect balance of fun but also really challenged her. She learned so much in just a few classes.
I like they are family oriented and there is something for everyone.
Variety…Gentle Yoga, Nia, Personal training, Kinesis wall, walking track
Not a 10 because some of the classes are too crowded for the rooms that they are held in while the bigger rooms are used by classes that could easily fit in smaller rooms. For example, NIA and Gentle Yoga taught by Rebecca should be in bigger room.
I love Rebecca and my personal trainer, Anthony. I would recommend them highly.
I especially like the group activities: yoga, pilates, bar fit. By far Emily Ingram is the best teacher. She always has different things to do each meeting, explains them well, and continually demonstrates so that we can look to see what she is doing if we have a question.
