What do you like about your CorePower Yoga experience?

Please ask the instructors to stop propping the doors open during sculpt. The cold air totally defeats the whole purpose of a heated class. I understand fanning the door here and there but not propping the door open. Thank you!

What do you like about your CorePower Yoga experience?

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lauren as a yoga instructor. Her presence alone creates a sense of calm the moment you walk into the room, and the way she guides her classes feels both intentional and deeply supportive.

Lauren has a rare ability to meet you exactly where you are, whether you are coming in feeling energized or completely depleted. Her cues are clear, her pacing is thoughtful, and her energy is grounding without ever feeling heavy. There is a softness to her teaching that allows you to truly drop in, while still feeling gently challenged in all the right ways.

What stands out most to me is how much she has helped me reset my nervous system. In a world that constantly feels “on,” her classes offer a space to slow down, breathe deeper, and reconnect. I consistently leave her sessions feeling more regulated, centered, and clear, both mentally and physically. That kind of impact goes far beyond a typical workout.

Lauren is not just an instructor, she is a true guide. You can feel that she genuinely cares about her students and the experience they are having. Her classes feel like a gift, and I am so grateful to have found her.

I would recommend Lauren wholeheartedly to anyone looking for not just movement, but real restoration and balance.

I have been here and other CP studios before but the community class was really nice and I really liked the teacher Ronan. Even with such a large class size he did a great job.

What do you like about your CorePower Yoga experience?

I genuinely love CorePower Yoga—the consistency, the variety of classes, and the quality of the workouts are why I keep coming back. It’s one of the few places where I know I’ll get a strong, reliable experience across locations and instructors.

That said, there’s one issue that’s become hard to ignore: the music volume in Sculpt classes.

At times, it’s simply too loud—so loud that it becomes physically uncomfortable and genuinely distracting. I’ve now had to leave class early more than once because of it, which is frustrating given how much I enjoy the workout itself.

It’s not just the volume—it’s also how the music is being used. During more complex or instruction-heavy sequences, the combination of:

extremely high volume
songs with heavy lyrics
and instructors needing to raise their voices to be heard

creates a kind of sensory overload. Your brain is being pulled in multiple directions—trying to follow cues, process layered movements, and filter out lyrics that compete with the teacher’s voice. In a heated room, especially, that level of stimulation can cross from energizing into overwhelming.

Music can absolutely elevate a class. When it’s used intentionally—instrumental, well-paced, and balanced with instruction—it enhances focus and flow. But when it’s consistently cranked at maximum volume, especially with lyric-heavy tracks, it can actually take away from the experience rather than support it.

I’ve even started bringing earplugs just in case, which feels like a workaround for something that could be addressed more directly through instructor awareness and studio standards. It also seems like there should be some consideration around safe decibel levels in an enclosed, heated environment.

To be clear—this isn’t every instructor. There are teachers who manage music beautifully, and the difference is noticeable. But often enough, it feels like music management is inconsistent, and that inconsistency impacts the overall experience.

I’m sharing this because I care about the space and want to keep coming back. With just a bit more attention to how music is used—especially in Sculpt—this could easily go from a great experience to an exceptional one.
