I enjoy the diverse date and time offerings of group exercise classes like Body Pump.
So far everything seems great! I am in adult volleyball and the refs are great and competition is decent. Better than what I expected. But I might have just gotten lucky.
My daughter is in swim at Schertz and so far the coaches are great. I would like to see them be a little more assertive with the local swimmers around them as they get in the way of our little ones who are in the classes. I would only assume that we have priority In the pool. It seems like Most of the coaches are timid to ask them to move and to give us some space while they are conducting their lessons.
My son is in baseball at Schertz, and so far it’s decent. And with this program I feeel there is a lot of fine tuning that needs to be done… I would like to see more coaches available. There are far too many kids against the ratio of coaches and the kids don’t know a lick of baseballl, so when it comes to game time- OUR kids are standing there not knowing what to do. Not knowing whether to run, can’t catch a grounder, nothing. Meanwhile the other kids on the other team have it together. I don’t expect our kids to be all stars but having more coaches or volunteer coaches will allow us to teach the concept of the game.
Perhaps if we can’t get more coaches don’t offer the sport. Just my opinion.

Oh and military discount would be awesome! At least off the family program for a yearly rate or something - then I know you’d get way more participation from us all.

Thousand Oaks is a large, well maintained facility with lots of programs and excellent childcare! So far, my experience has been a 10/10!
It is very convenient. Kids are happy with their experience. They seem to have fun and a chance to unwind after there school day while also continuing to practice skills. We like that they have time outside as well.
Very friendly staff. They offer a variety of activities for all ages. They also work very well with all surrounding neighborhood. I highy recommend the YMCA westside!!

I love the activities that include the entire family. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The y creates an enjoyable family friendly environment that is memorable. I have children ages 5 to 16, and we all enjoy everything the y has to offer. It’s really rare to find that.
My family loves the pool and my kids enjoy being able to workout with me.
So far we love the environment and the employees! The gym is very clean and the instructors are nice!
We love that they YMCA sports programs are not super competitive, the focus on equal play, good sportsmanship, nice coaches, and the kids always have fun!
Love total body workouts with Edna and Sandy!! You need more classes especially in the afternoons. There is always a wait list.
I like the hours the Y is open. I like the classes I take with Alicia and Gregg. The friendly greetings from the front desk. The facility is clean, ladies bathroom and exercise room

Weight room and facilities are always clean. Staff and customers friendly. I feel very comfortable there and I look forward to working out.
I love the silver sneakers classes and I especially love Caroline! I appreciate how our class has Alma who assists Caroline and helps all of the class too. Both ladies brighten my day whenever I go.
