I take as many of Catherine’s HIIT classes as I can. I also love her cycle classes. It’s what keeps me going!
Place is clean and well kept.
I love how the counselors are hands on and participate with our kids whether it’s homework or arts and crafts. I feel they keep our kids safe and keep us posted with any issues.
The swimming pool is very nice , but for lap swimming there is rarely enough lanes open after 5:00 pm

I love the instructors and people at the front desk. All the classes are amazing. I am so happy at the Y!! Everyone is great, special shout out to Sarah (front desk) and Mellissa (instructor) they are always smiling and amazing to be around. They make me want to keep coming.
I am currently receiving training from a personal trainer.
The group exercise classes are the best. Very motivational!
They are affordable. There's a wide range of choices and times. The staff is very professional and friendly. I love it.
I used to visit Randolph AFB gym for my daily workout activities. One of the benefits of being a retired military, no monthly dues. However, the activities offered are pretty basic. Not unlike YMCA , there are numerous programs being offered from different level of yoga, zumba, cycling class, and a lot more. Let's not forget the summer fun activities line-up for the coming months. There's always something new Y has to offer. This is my go-to-place almost every day.
My daughter comes home happy everyday after school. Her counselors are always keeping me updated on how she’s been that day. If she had a rough day after school or if she had a great day, they always inform me at pick up.
I appreciate the programs I have signed up for are geared for seniors.
Everybody's calm and relaxed with their own goals in mind. I feel a sense of peace and hope.
I enjoy the Body Pump classes very much.
Trainer Chris Reeder is great. Has thoughtful exercises that factor my age and agility. Most impressive, however, is that he’s aware of the environment.
During one of our workouts he observed a member in distress on the bench press. The weight was leaning on his chest and the floor. Chris observed the situation and immediately intervened! His situational awareness and quick response allowed the member to avoid any potentially life-altering injury.
Love Zumba! Lots of classes to choose from.
I like YMCA, great environment and alot motivation to keep working hard and stay fit. Its really cool to be with YMCA

Friendly staff. Very good equipment. Better than most fitness facilities in the area.

Hello,
I’d like to suggest that the Cibolo YMCA consider extending its hours past 9 PM. The facility is excellent—especially the two high-quality basketball courts—but they are often unavailable to members between 5:30 and 8:30 PM during the youth sports seasons, which seems to be most of the year.
As a long-time member, I primarily use the basketball courts so my son can practice and shoot, along with occasional visits to the weight room. It’s frustrating to not have access to the courts for such extended periods. To put it in perspective, it would be like the Schertz YMCA blocking off its weight room for team practices, leaving members unable to use it.
Lately, we’ve had to travel to the Schertz YMCA just to find half-court space to shoot, due to volleyball practices taking up the full courts in Cibolo.
I truly believe that extending hours past 9 PM and making the basketball courts more accessible would increase member usage. Steele and Clemens both have highly competitive varsity programs, with student-athletes and parents actively looking for gym space to train.
Thank you for considering this request—I believe it would be a great benefit to the community.
Thank you
