My helper, Becky, is my favorite. I don’t have to tell her what to do all the time, she sees what needs to be done and do it. She reminds me of my mother. She doesn’t make washing me seem awkward. I was so comfortable with her then she was taken from me, right when I’m about to have the biggest surgery of my life!!
The new girl is doing her best, I’ll have to remember she’s not Becky. I can say Mia does everything I ask of her.

Senior Helpers
From the first day of bringing my Dad home from the skilled nursing rehab, Senior Helpers provided responsible, kind, attentive people to care for both Mom and Dad. The rehab center had advised we find a place providing 24-hour care for Dad, but working with Karen at Senior Helpers we were able to get the care they needed and keep my parents in their home for 2 more years! We greatly appreciated their adaptability with changing needs of clients, informing caregivers and seamlessly adapting caregiving routines as well as schedules to continue care in their home.
The caregivers Karen hires are genuinely dedicated to the clients’ health, comfort and safety, maintaining communication with family about day to day events and concerns.
Administrative communication is also timely and both Karen and Chun are understanding, and always willing to assist with scheduling as well as providing the caregiving and invoicing records needed for both the VA and the LTC benefits.
