I have been impressed throughout the process of evaluating (trial workout), joining, and now enjoying my membership at the Norfolk Planet Fitness. The gym is always well-staffed, clean, and maintained (though the water fountain being out this week is not good). From the first encounter with Hugh when I came in for my trial workout (first time stepping foot in a PF) to my daily check-ins, my interactions with the team have been great. And the other members seem to be a good bunch. Kudos to the team and management.

The facility is well laid-out and includes an upstairs balcony area. The black card massage chair area is private, with relaxing dimmed light. Staff were friendly upon entering and gracious to my friend who was there for the first time.

This Garland location is so much better than the Mesquite location. I will not be able to go to that one often because it is not convenient. Please do something upgrade the black spa especially. Nothing ever works and I pay for the extra membership!!

Clean and organize
I love the staff at the sand springs location!! They are very personable and knowledgeable. Super friendly and helpful as well!!!
When I disinfect the room and bed before use, I can’t help but feel that out of the other members like I am the only one who does. Including PF employees.
Before I use it, I disinfect the tanning bed foot platform. Has hair and other debris that are going to be from ppl tracking in from their feet. So, when I am done and cleaning the same platform, it’s not dirty at all. I can’t understand how it could become that dirty unless indeed I am the only member ever wiping it down. Concerning at the least. I myself wouldn’t chance it but all other members more than likely don’t.
I recently posted a bad review for this location by mistake, it was supposed to be for the PF off Columbia Ave. The staff at this PF (12th St) is very attentive and never had any issues. Only reason I’m not rating it with a 10 is due to the lack of the total body enhancement equipment. Other than that this is one of the few locations I like to work out at because they’re open 24/7 and have plenty of machines, dumbbells, and space for most types of exercises.
Afforable price, nice clean facilities, great machines. Good employees!
I love being able to show up early and see smiling faces! I love that there is a variety of machines to use. It is clean. Music is great. Overall a great place to want to go and feel better about yourself.
