What do you like about our programs and activities?

The child watch place is really big and entertaining for the kids. There's a separate Y zone for bigger kids which is a great idea. Some of the group exercise classes happen in Gymnasium which is a huge space and accommodates more people than other group EX studios. Overall, I really like the West Chester Y and would definitely recommend it to my friends!!

What do you like about our programs and activities?

The employees, volunteers and patrons could not be nicer nor more helpful. As I am wheelchair bound, and have been for almost 53 years, I especially appreciate the all around courtesies, as well as the big spirited professionalism at the WCY.

I like the equipment and the staff. It is well maintained and I most definitely recommend it!! The equipment is the best in the area!. I do not like the fact the branches shut down for a full week each year. While I do appreciate the fact the Y takes this time to invest in improving and maintaining the facility, I wish they would find a way to close fewer days and also do it over a longer period of weeks so nearby facilities are not closed at the same time. This year Kennett is closed at the same time as Airport Rd which is a huge inconvenience. The Oscar Lasco location is not comparable to Airport Rd.

I like the facility director Nick, and his staff, especially Sid , who are very friendly and attentive. I also like the friendly lifeguards as well as Jill and Susan who are the morning front desk greeters.

I know there are a lot of planned activities that I really need to check out. I procrastinated for a long time but I am now making this a priority. Thank you for supplying the beautiful space and nice people that work at the YMCA.

Both my children have been taking private swimming lessons with Leslie Seiffort. She is an amazing teacher. Both children have been great progress and feel safe in the pool. Our family is so happy with how much how children have learned.
