Instructors are very knowledgeable, change up sessions every six months (?) And friendly.

There is truly something for everyone. The programs are designed for every age group, as well as interest and ability level. The Y is truly an important part of the West Chester community.

The WC YMCA is great! We normally use the Airport Rd facility, sometimes I have used in town location. The spinning instructors Dierdra, Courtney, Allie, Bob and new gal Abbie are awesome. Tim Crozier Sr. is a great host in the exercise room. I have enjoyed talking to the front desk crew about the Trivia questions that are posted each day. My wife does the Body Pump class and we sometimes do Yoga and I will swim laps as well. We enjoy the Y experience!

Montessori, Day care and swimming are very nice. Teachers are very friendly. My son loves all of it.

Everyone using the Y has varying physical abilities and it doesn't matter how you dress. You can participate in social groups or pop in and out at your leisure.

We love Leslie and the swimming program. It is supportive and educational, and my son has learned to love the water.

Cycle Beat is a GREAT class!!! Jenny Munro is the best! She makes it fun to workout!!!

My son really enjoys taking swimming lessons at the Y, which makes me happy to take him. He learned a lot this session!

Parent/child swim classes are pure fun! Great instructors, fun songs, and important swimming skills even at the youngest ages.

Kris is simply phenomenal. She is so patient and innovative with my daughter. Her swimming improved a lot this session.

We have enjoyed the swim lessons, especially Mr Matt who taught level 5 youth lessons on Monday nights :)

I appreciated the instructor’s willingness to accommodate my child’s needs. I have twins and one had a more significant fear of water but the instructor was patient. My girls love Amanda.

My son had private lessons with Kris who was fantastic! Again having someone work with a child with different neurodevelopmental needs with the willingness to think out of the box was invaluable.

Plenty of treadmills

I usually work out at UMLY, but I love that West Chester YMCA has a lot of Zumba classes. I really enjoy taking these classes. I saw that they have a walking path over the gymnasium. I am thinking about using that one day soon. I have not taken any other classes at this location but I would like to, as a lot of the classes work with my schedule. Everyone seems very happy at the West Chester YMCA, both members and staff. Everyone is friendly as well.

Child watch and parents night out. All the classes. The pool and availability for lap swims. The daycare and Montessori curriculum. The family changing rooms. The steam room. The indoor track. The variety of exercise equipment. The summer camp offerings for kids.

Everything, a place my kids love to come an enjoy

It's a convenient location and the facilities are nice and large. The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and welcoming on my first visit.

I like the variety of classes offered

I like the variety of exercise programs offered, there’s something for everyone. I love the sense of community at the Y - staff and members are very friendly and welcoming. I’ve been a member for over 30 years and just love going to the Y!
