I usually go to Lionville but went to WC a few weeks ago because Lionville was having problems with the pool. I was amazed at the beautiful pools at WC. I also loved the two aqua classes that I did.
I will look at more of their programs now, although it is not as convenient for me to go to WC. The facility was beautiful
Great ambience. We sent our daughter to the kids academy and went to the gym. Our kid had fun and we also got our workout in. Over all a positive experience.
instructors, body pump class is very beneficial esp. for older athletes like myself
I love that they are family oriented yet also very in tune with the younger, single population. There is something for everyone without being overbearing.
I am a swimmer and enjoy the lap pool
Friendly, helpful staff and great classes and facilities.
Lots of programs, lots of days, times, clean, new equip, good instructors & managers. Hard to beat!
The variety
they are great
Zumba
Of all the Y’s in the network, your gym space is by far the best lit. It makes a huge difference for events like pickleball, where seeing the ball is critical.
Clean facility, equipment plentiful (for the most part) and in good shape, people are friendly
best lap pool in the area
Enjoying the AQUA aerobics classes, and senior socials.
I usually have a certain schedule to visit the Y but also if needed I can go any time. Use the machines mostly and the pool when the weather is warmer. Many choices.
I love my Y branch. The gym is always clean and the staff are very professional. I work out 4-5 times a week and if I have any questions, the staff gets right back to me. The environment is clean and safe.
I love Step Class. Amanda is awesome. Of all the group fitness classes, Step is the highest and best form of aerobic activity not only for cardio-vascular heath, but also for the circulation which is extremely beneficial for mental acuity.
Mondays and Wednesays I have blocked on my calendar for Amanda's class.
Please consider more opportunities! I have been to Port Orange, Fl YMCA which offers Step classes every day, as well as additional beginning step for several evenings during the week. They also have a class in Ballroom dancing and Dance Aerobics (not the Zumba style. lol The traditional Aerobic class incorporating Jazz dance steps).
These classes with the upbeat music inspire us to come, and also create an atmosphere of enjoyable activity with others!
Enjoy the facility very much.
Variety and friendliness of all.
Love the 10 lane pool!
Great staff and facilities. The kids love child watch and the pool.
Love the group classes - would like to see more challenging classes - Hot Yoga.... more advanced pilates. We're all still working at the same level - need a bump up !!
I don’t take advantage of your events. I tried signing up for pickle all as a beginner but it appears you are dealing with a tsunami of interest
I enjoy the yoga program at 5 pm on Monday. The instructor is pleasant and fantastic.
I like the West Chester Y but I have to drive 60 miles round trip to get there. I now take three classes a week. One in Jennersville, one in Kennett Square and one in West Chester. I'm not sure that a Y membership is a good option because of the limited availability of class offerings.
The West Chester Branch is a wonderful facility. The parking is extremely convenient, the facility (building) is always clean and well kept. I use the the YMCA for the aquatic classes and the lap lanes of the pools. The pools are well kept and clean. The lifeguards are fastidious in their watching the pool users. Everyone is pleasant and friendly.
Friendly and helpful staff with lots of activity options.
Facility is always clean and bright. Pools well maintained
You have a lot of different exercise machines for me to use. So far this is why I joined your Y. My wife is hoping to participate in the event exercise classes.

I think it’s clean, generally well run and a good value for the money. At the same time, some of the changes instituted due to COVID (i.e. more limited classes) aren’t that great. Would like to see, at some point, earlier morning classes return and maybe even do the outside classes earlier now that the weather is warmer and it’s light earlier. Some of us still go to work and working out before going to work is the only option.
