We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Lightbridge Academy of Glenside! It is clear how much care, attention, and love goes into everything they do for the kids.

This year, we’ve been especially pleased with both the Teal Turtles and Yellow Ducks teachers. They have created such a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where our child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn every day. The communication has been great, and it means so much knowing our child is in such capable and caring hands.

We’ve seen so much growth, confidence, and happiness this year, and we truly appreciate all the hard work the staff puts in. We are so grateful to be part of this amazing daycare community 💛

Changing classes too quickly to make room for other students vs when a child is ready

Lack of transparency regarding pricing is really frustrating and has led to erroneous bills multiple times.

Very organized, clean, and most importantly truly seems to really care for the kids. Anyone with reservations about leaving their child in daycare or preschool doesn't need to worry here!

Lightbridge is amazing. My baby girl absloutely loves her teachers. She talks about Ms. Ashley almost everyday when she comes home from school. They provide updates throughout the day and cute little pictures of your kiddo. I would definitely recommend trying them out if you are looking for a daycare for your little one.

Lightbridge has been wonderful for my kiddo! He has made so many wonderful friends and is learning so much. He is sometimes wary when we drop him off for the day but when we pick him up he is all smiles and having a blast! The teachers and staff really care for each of the kids individually and they have a lot of fun events for parents to get involved in their kids’ learning experience

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank Ms. Renu for taking such wonderful care of my daughter. From the Orange Giraffes room to the Kaki Kangaroos room, her love, patience, and dedication have meant so much to our family. We truly appreciate everything she does. We love the entire staff at Light Bridge , Iselin, They are very responsive and co-operative.

Inconsistency in the pre-k classroom.

The staff is amazing. They always go above and beyond. Very thankful for all of them.

The program is educational based and my children have fun while playing. The teachers pay particular attention to each child’s needs. I feel comfortable when I am leave that my children are always in good hands.

We truly appreciate the structured routine, engaging activities, and how patient and loving the teachers are. The staff is so caring and attentive, and it’s clear that Koe feels safe, comfortable, and genuinely happy here. We’ve seen such meaningful growth in him socially, emotionally, and in his learning, and that means everything to us. We also really value the communication from the staff, it helps us feel connected and confident in his care every day.

We’ve had a really positive experience overall. The teachers are warm, attentive, and genuinely care about the children, which gives me a lot of comfort as a parent. I also appreciate the structured daily routine and the focus on both learning and social development. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into the activities and curriculum.

The communication from the center is also something I value—being able to stay informed about my child’s day and development makes a big difference. I’ve seen noticeable growth in independence, language, and social skills, which I credit in large part to the environment and support provided by the team.

Overall, it feels like a safe, nurturing, and engaging place for my child to learn and grow, which is exactly what I’m looking for.

My son has been attending Lightbridge Academy since he was 15 months old, he's now 5 in kindergarten, his last year. What initially drew me to this location is the positive reviews I read upon research. I must say, the atmosphere held true to being warm and family like, which I appreciate. The curriculum is impressive. My son was doing addition/subtraction and greater/less than since he was 4! However, with that being said, I had higher expectations for the kindergarten curriculum. I thought it would be more challenging but in my opinion, curriculum is similar to pre k 4 curriculum. I would send my kid here if I had to choose again. I'm happy his education journey started at Lightbridge.

We are generally very happy. The teachers are wonderful, we appreciate the communication and updates in the app, and the kids are happy.

Some little things we don't like:
- They have snacks in the room that they give out to the kids freely, and it's not necessarily things that we give at home. (understand in emergencies, but shouldn't be a daily thing)
- When we pick up, there is sometimes a video playing on the iPad. I think it's "yoga" but really just a video. For what we are paying, I expect the teachers to be engaging and playing with the kids and not throwing on a video.

I would appreciate it if teachers could support children with basic personal hygiene, such as wiping their noses and ensuring they clean themselves properly after potty as this helps maintain hygiene standards for all children.

I love my daughter’s teacher, Ms. Estrella! I knew my daughter was going to be taken care of from the minute I introduced myself and had a conversation with her. Her energy is contagious and she really loves what she does!

Inclusivity

The teachers do a good job managing the class and keeping the day structured. The curriculum is strong and there is good parent communication. I feel like the building is secure.

I love Lightbridge! This was one of the only daycares in the Richmond area that I actually felt comfortable sending my son to. The school is always clean. The classrooms are bright and fun and interactive. And most importantly, they prioritize safety. Lightbridge is also the only school I was able to find in the Richmond area that offers a significant degree of flexibility when it comes to student attendance and they really do consider the needs of working parents. So, it was a no-brainer when it was time to decide where I would be sending my son.

I feel so grateful to both Nicole and Ms. Gargi for the incredible care and sensitivity they show up with every day. Ms. Gargi is so attuned to my son, and Nicole never fails to hear and address my concerns. I just wish some of the other teachers were less gruff and more sensitive with him.

I love how I can drop off my child at any time. I also love how well staffed they are. I love the ability to see my child on the cameras. I also appreciate how kind and nice the staff are.
