The pool area is outstanding for my physical therapy needs! I would appreciate adding another stationary bike or at least add the foot straps on the present ones. It really hurts my knees to have my feet slip off the pedals!

I love all the friendly faces. Everyone is so helpful and supportive. It is a fun place to exercise and I'm always glad that I came to class.

Family environment
The staff is nice and the gym area is clean! The machines are kept in good working order and combining the equipment in one area makes it feel like a gym again and less like a separated personal training facility to suit the egos of a few female patrons and their attention seeking mentality.

1The facilty s well maintained, clean and continues to make small and meaningful changes to help make it useful and more pleasant expereince. Case in point upgrades to men's shower heads and soap dispensers; changes to workout equipment and workout areas for group and individual training,experiences.

I love Providence YMCA because the staff is friendly and it has all of the equipment that I need to get a good workout in. I also enjoy the swimming pool! It's nice that it's so close to my house, so there's no excuses for me to not go! I do wish that they would stay open later than 8pm, because I like to workout later in the evening to avoid the "rush" and I sometimes need a little more time to get everything done.
