Family environment
The staff is nice and the gym area is clean! The machines are kept in good working order and combining the equipment in one area makes it feel like a gym again and less like a separated personal training facility to suit the egos of a few female patrons and their attention seeking mentality.
It’s close, affordable, welcoming. Good for the community.

1The facilty s well maintained, clean and continues to make small and meaningful changes to help make it useful and more pleasant expereince. Case in point upgrades to men's shower heads and soap dispensers; changes to workout equipment and workout areas for group and individual training,experiences.

I love Providence YMCA because the staff is friendly and it has all of the equipment that I need to get a good workout in. I also enjoy the swimming pool! It's nice that it's so close to my house, so there's no excuses for me to not go! I do wish that they would stay open later than 8pm, because I like to workout later in the evening to avoid the "rush" and I sometimes need a little more time to get everything done.
The instructors for me really make a difference. Every time I go to my class they know how to pump up the room. And even when the room may be eh because it's a Monday or whatever, they know where to meet us while still pushing us to be our best selves for that hour. They're super kind and funny and make us feel at home! I appreciate that very much. The gym is where I go to channel all my everything, not just stress, but joy and excitement I experience in my day or week so it's nice to come to a place where that is accepted and shared with!

most of the equipment works, if they do not you can tel the desk but for ome reason it takes forever for the y to send anyone to fix it
Everyone is friendly. It is not too crowded. My child can stay active with me.
The only thing is the hours are not very accommodating.

I enjoyed the Zumba work out. It was strenuous but fun! The front desk is well staffed and friendly.

I love all the friendly faces. Everyone is so helpful and supportive. It is a fun place to exercise and I'm always glad that I came to class.
