Nice facility!
The staff are so welcoming and kind, and the facilities are great! It’s really well managed and a great environment.
I joined before and left because I wasn't so happy with the numerous lounging chairs around the workout area for men to sit and gawk while women work out. I rejoined and the chairs are now situated in a place where they are not facing the workout area. Still a lot of chairs for a gym, which I don't understand, but I haven't been bothered with the gawkers this time.
I love yoir circuit training machines. You have an elliptical machine that you sit not the step machine that I love.
The people are so friendly, good , fun and safe and better health.

When I walk in although I don't know a single person that works there, everyone makes my little family feel like family.
It’s honestly pretty clean considering how busy it is. And I like that there is always plenty of space in the free weight/functional fitness smaller room for multiple people to be in there at a time.
I appreciate the opportunity to build a personal community with people of various ages, etc..
The YMCA is very friendly and I enjoy the workout!

People that come to YMCA are those that want to keep themselves active and moving and generally have a great attitude.
I have not seen any judgement of others as each of us works to become healthier.
We are all in this together, each doing the best we can, supporting each other.
The Y is closest to my home and it is an opportunity to support a Y in my community because we don't have a lot of options for maintaining a healthy life style. The staff is good and the socialization with the regular members is outstanding!

I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER FOR 19 YEARS AND WILL START MY 20TH YEAR IN MAY 2025 I HAVE ENJOYED WORKING OUT AT THE YMCA SINCE THE FIRST DAY I STARTED. l LOOK FORWARD TO CONTINUNG SPENDING THE TIME WITH THE OTHER PEOPLE THAT I HAVE GOTTEN TO KNOW .

The availability of Pickleball is great. And the staff at the facility are great. I am in early retirement and having somewhere to go to play indoor Pickleball a few days a week no matter the weather has been a real positive life-changer for me.
Clean & friendly
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The groups are lead by some outstanding instructors. Administrative staff is very approachable and listens/addresses concerns. My overall experience with Providence YMCA has been very positive.

I have been a member of the YMCA both here in Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota,New Jersey and California since 1992 and grateful for the integrity and healthy living focus of the YMCA nationwide.
But here in Kansas, I am literally called my name when I enter and leave the facility before I even check in and I think that that is pretty awesome and literally never happens anywhere else!

2. The whole facility is well-designed and it layout makes is simple to find my way around.

I love the diversity - age, race, gender, physical ability. I appreciate the kindness of the staff. I appreciate the cleanliness of the areas I utilize.
One note - if someone could reach out to Jerey to see if it might help to have a tool to clean the treadmill belts. He doesn’t complain at all. I’ve just observed that it’s getting harder for him to bend down and clean them.
There are inexpensive options that could make the job easier on him if he would be interested.

They have a variety of activities that we enjoy. Also the staff is friendly. Danny the manager deserves a lot of credit for keeping everything running smoothly.
