When I came into the Wyandotte YMCA, I was an emotional mess after losing my 39 y.o. husband to Cancer 3 weeks prior. I was greeted and embraced by a lady named Vivian at the front desk, and for me it was far beyond what I could have expected from a "GYM". I felt cared about as a human being and that is worth more than GOLD. She not only assisted me in getting signed up with a membership, but she introduced me to a man who is also a pastor and together we all were able to get my emotions in check. From that day forward I've felt better about humanity, my health and body goals, and my grief.

All the great programs it has for all the family. Staff is very nice and friendly. I liked that the Bitty sports are free for Y members now. I like it that its clean and like the new workout machines.
The Y offers a wide variety of activities throughout the day.

Top equipment, the big windows to look out while excercising great ,which also makes it less likely for cars to be broken into. It's like a little community there!
