The number of activities offered to the Y member are awesome. There is a lot to choose from, and you can find whatever you need to help yourself get fit.
My experience has been in the fitness class let by Robin. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
The Y does a really good job of making everybody feel comfortable. I've never belonged to another gym, so I have nothing really to compare it to. But Providence Family YMCA is full of people of all ages, colors, body types and athleticism. I am a middle-age Caucasian woman who only trudges away on the treadmill a few times a week, and I always feel welcome, accepted and appreciated. I can't think of a higher recommendation than that.
I love that I can bring my toddler to the kid center and still get a work out in:) I have trouble keeping track of all the schedules but I love the services:)
We've gotten weekly updates on his progress swimming and his teacher makes adjustments so each child gets the most out of class.

I love First name removed's swimming instructor. She is so patient with him and energetic. She comes talk to us after the class is over, and I really appreciate that. I also spoke to the front desk about becoming a member and they were very helpful. They answered all doubts and were very knowledgeable. Everyone that I've met there has been really nice. I would highly recommend that location along with First name removed's swim instructor.
The management, staff and instructors are the very best. I have worked out at several studios throughout the Kansas City area and the Providence YMCA meets or exceeds them in quality. Color me very impressed.:)

The Providence YMCA is a very good Christian organization in our community. There are many good opportunities to volunteer. I volunteer every week at Providence YMCA and I love it.
