As a female presenting person, I felt welcome in a largely male dominated establishment. I appreciate that the cut I wanted was available, I appreciate that I was given a "buddy card". In today's economy you have no idea how much a free haircut could mean to someone. I felt heard, I felt seen, and I felt respected. I didn't get any special services or products, and that's okay. I was very happy with the service I did receive.
Just curious im an RN and couldn't get a discount last visit. She said I'm not a first responder. I googled your policy and it said RN s are included in the discount. If so the staff member who cut my hair will need to be provided the policy to review.
