I was recommended by one surgeon to see his partner in the same practice because he was more adept at doing the type of surgery that I need. I know surgeons make their money off of performing surgery. I thought this was fabulous that he did that. Also, I got an appointment with the first doctor immediately upon describing my injury.
Everyone was friendly and welcoming during my first visit! My wait was minimal which I really appreciated. Dr. Sacksteder was personable and easy to speak with. After he left my room and I was preparing to leave, I remembered something I wanted to ask him and he returned to the room as soon as he was finished with the next patient. Impressive!
Dr Taromina was great! Discussed possibility of knee replacement down the line, which I expected. Very knowledgeable and easy going
Convenient online form providing information prior to visit, on time appointment. Dr. Kaplan did a thorough review of my condition comparing to previous x-rays years ago showing degradation and wear. Gave me the options available and directed me to the expert who would do the procedure I require.
Dr. Von Thron is a great doctor. Listens to your concerns and talks with you to help understand what is going on with your health issue. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a specialist.

Fell on Friday night and went to Baptist South ER with broken arm. ER splinted and referred me to see JOI. Called first thing Monday as instructed expecting to be seen right away and first Scheduler was not very helpful in getting me in quickly. Called back and reached a different scheduler who did a great job getting me in sooner. She contacted Med. Assistant and they were able to get me in a few days sooner.. Once we got past first centralized scheduling experience couldn’t ask for any better care. Saw doctor for eval on Thursday and plan of action started. Doctors, staff, check in staff and everyone have
been excellent and very efficient.. Have confidence surgery and follow up’s will go well.

JOI was possibly the best experience I have ever had in the medical world. Extremely efficient, on time, professional and everyone was very friendly. Dr. Bell was Great! He quickly diagnosed my knee problem, explained it very clearly and applied treatment. Today I feel like a new person. I highly recommend JOI to anyone having Orthopaedic issues.

My appointment was with Dr. Rick Piceno. He was professional and friendly. I had taken a fall several weeks ago and still had a bruised knee with a lot of dull pain. He prescribed a gel for me to use alone with some exercises to do daily. Thankful surgery was not needed.
