Well, since you asked for my feedback :) ... I came to your office for the first time yesterday to see Dr. Kaplan about shoulder pain I was having, and I just wanted to say thank you to him and tell him how happy I am to have been able to go about my daily life today with minimal pain. It’s not 100% gone, but it feels 80% better already, and I'm hoping it will continue to improve. I also wanted to compliment the staff there on how lovely everyone was and the fact that I was seen, diagnosed, treated, and out of there all within an hour of my appointment. That’s pretty rare. Dr. Greg Smith and his team are always caring, efficient and professional. Dr. Smith has been my go to doctor for my Orthopedic needs for years and he continues to shine.
Would recommend Dr. Gould. He gets high marks. But the administrative aspects of JOI and Baptist Health leaves a great deal to be desired.
Thought I made first appointment online but when I arrived the appointment was not on the books. Did it a second time and it worked. After receiving several email to do online check-in I acquiesced, took the time and completed ALL the forms, including the long list of Rx medications. Upon arrival the day of the appointment I was handed a clipboard and then a tablet to complete the same forms I had done online. I was told the forms were not in my file. Very frustrating.
What is incomprehensible is that in 2022, with the available technology, that my Baptist Health medical records are not available to ALL Baptist Health doctors, e.g. Primary Care, Cardiology, JOI, Neurology, etc.
