Have been a customer/patient of JOI for years having had both a full knee and full hip replacement. This visit was to have a shoulder exam as I have recently had a lot of pain. My meeting with Dr. Kaplan after X-Rays was informative and reassuring.

I want to commend the lady who set up my appointment. I wish I knew her name; she was so helpful and understanding. I called on Monday morning, 9/19, and really needed to get in to see someone. She continued to look at doctors' schedules until she found Dr. Kaplan could see me Wednesday, 9/21, morning. She was terrific!

I was scheduled for 11am and arrived early with my paperwork predone but had to wait until 11:30 to be brought back. That was after I asked the nurse if there was a problem with my appointment. Doctor was fine. I was suppose to get a call about getting a MRI which I still haven't got or a call back after calling in to find out the status.

the in office staff is very pleasant including Dr Freeman. However, a few days after I had my appointment I had some questions and concerns. I called 3 times over a week and left voicemails and only received a call back from the 3rd one. The lady wasn't a nurse, only a front desk person. She took my questions down and said she would have a nurse call me back. That never happened either. I finally gave up. This was terrible patient service!!!!
