Love the mind, body, and soul healing that I achieve at corepower.
Love this studio and the instructors! I travel from Parker and usually attend Lindsey's Saturday 10:30 75 min C2. I am never disappointed, Always crowded, love the energy and challenge! It is a testament to her. She has great music and people can tell she puts a-lot of time and thought into her sequencing. Keep up the great work Lindsey!
Good mix of classes
High quality difficult yoga classes that add great benefits to life outside class
Love the instructors, class schedule, and studio overall at Lohi!
Marta is hands down one of the best instructors Corepower has ever had! Her energy is so contagious, and her instruction is calm and very definitive. And the heat in the room is always perfect. At so many classes, the room is way too hot. Hers is always just right:)
Everyone is so friendly and the gym is spacious and clean
The instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful during classes. You can really tell that they embrace the practice of yoga.
I loved the C1 class! I loved how when I walked in and said that it was my first time, I was wholeheartedly and excitedly welcomed by my instructor! Kristin was the best intro to Corepower instructor I could have asked for! Great flow, challenging, and encouraging!
I love the different studios and that they get hot!
The instructors are all very solid and great mix of styles. Everyone is clearly trying so hard to make it a great experience. Always a positive place to come.
Changing area is nice and so is retail area.
Great instruct for the sculpt class I attended.
The instructors are good, and I’m obsessed with the sculpt class!
Consistenly high quality instructors
What an amazing class.. I love the set up of the studio, and Ellie was such a spiritual guide for a packed class. I was visiting from Charleston, SC, and I will 100% take classes at this studio again when I'm back in Denver.
I love everything Corepower! I just wish I could afford it more often! Love you CPY!
Great instructors, parking good, good location, class schedule is frequent
Location, amount of classes available, studios
LoHi is one of my favorite CorePower locations to practice in.
1) The instructors are able to keep the heat more consistent than at other studios. I actually got goosebumps and was shivering a little during a C2 class at LoDo last week (I do understand they are working with YogaPod's old heater, and I'm certain they'll figure out the nuances of the space or find an improvement, but it was an unwelcome surprise to be cold at a CorePower). I strongly prefer a consistently warm, humid room to one that has significant temperature differentials, so this is a big deal to me, and one that keeps me coming back to LoHi!
2) Strange though this may sound, I love the black ceiling. LoDo and Cherry Creek make me feel like I'm just in an office building practicing lunch time yoga under an ordinary white drop ceiling. I know, that's super weird. But seriously. Ambiance counts, and the black ceiling is...more empowering? I don't know, but I love it.
3) I think LoHi has one of the better layouts. There are relatively few bottlenecks created by too-small hallways or teeny-tiny entrances/dressing rooms.
4) This goes for all locations: The culture of 'Welcome' is tangible. My personal schedule changes week to week, so I don't make a dedicated effort to go to the same classes at the same studios at the same times each week...but your team makes an effort to remember my name. It is spectacular, and a little mind-blowing to have someone say, 'Hi First name removed! Here for C2?' as you enter the place. I love that.
One request for the instructors:
I've noticed a number of the instructor's voices are getting washed out by the music over the past few days, to the point where I am having to come out of my practice to look around the room for a visual cue as to what the instructor just called out. A gentle reminder, dear instructors, we WANT to hear you. We WANT to follow your direction. Please speak clearly and gauge the volume of your voice so we can hear you, even when you're trying to pump us up with some awesome beats.
A few suggestions: especially as Denver grows, and as this is the beginning of a new year, it seems as though a lot of new yogis have been making their way to CPY (yay!!!) It would be spectacular if CPY could help set standards of practice to make everyone's experience more enjoyable. A few things I've noticed more than once since the start of the New Year:
1) Yogis leaving class, but sitting in their car for 4+ minutes (it's hard not to count the minutes, when you're in danger of being late) while a line of hopeful cars sits behind that person, hoping to snag that parking spot. Time is of the essence between classes. Be kind and vacate your parking space in a timely fashion so the next group of students can park and get in to class.
2) Leave the cell phone out of the studio. Leave your Apple watch out of the studio. Anything that makes noise or requires your attention (or breaks the space for yogis practicing around you) is truly a detriment. In five out of the last 7 classes I've taken, one or more people have had devices going off or have spent more time reading their text messages on their watches than practicing yoga. It's the strangest thing I've ever experienced in a yoga studio.
3) WASH YOUR MAT COVER. We all sweat. Clean the things you sweat on. They smell. BAD.
4) Don't talk over the instructor. Ever.
Something I would love to see in the future: some sort of community-building. A book club, a dinner club, a hiking club. Something that offers a space of socialization and fun outside the four corners of our mats.
And finally, an enormous Thank You to all the instructors. The time you have spent developing your presence, the efforts you have taken (and continue to take) to work through your own 'stuff' so that you can show up for us each class...it is appreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Om, Shanti, Namaste.

Great instructors, great attitude, fun classes.
My instructor was very kind and truly let us be in our space. Not pushing us to hard and giving us the space to listen to our own bodies.
