Student Testimonials
Overall great teachers, great heat, fun flows, and pleasant space.
Thank you for offering free classes especially in places that are costly like CA. I've had an amazing experience so far.

Hey CorePower- I love the Berkeley West studio. Jamie & Deshauna are so friendly and helpful!
The two things that I think would make the studio better are:
1) A class or two on Saturday afternoon. Is that possible?
2) I have been attending Corepower for +15 years and started my membership in San Diego. C2 classes used to be a lot more fun, energizing, and cardio-focused in San Diego. I don't know why the teaching style has changed over the years but C2 and C3 classes now don't seem like Vinyasa but more of a Hatha yoga style. They are slow and frankly boring. Any chance you could pump up the Cardio and excitement in these C2/C3 classes by starting off with quick flows and then going into more static poses? I think they call this the "Cardio Exercise Curve."
Yoga Sculpt brings in so many members that maybe adding a bit more Cardio to C2/C3 might make the classes more well-attended. Just a thought.
The heated room, plenty of room, the upper floor energy with all the windows, and the workout. Its a yoga workout, with some thoughtful spirit componnets too.
It was hot! it was fun! what's not to like?
Great workout and everyone is extremely friendly
Clean and yoga instructor was excellent!
good. instructor, music, flow. everything
I have loved coming here for years (various locations in different states) but since moving here I love this location and have been really enjoying Karina's C2 class! She is great at giving direction and her instruction flows really well and she switches it up so it's not the same every time!
Everything!
Amazing experience with body work, when and how to breath, how to be in position to do movement with breath work was awesome!
Sarah and other instructors like Kayta, and Ivy are amazing!
Thanks All!
The yoga instructor was very compassionate, kind, and authentic, with her passion for yoga
Talented instructors.

Fantastic
Really enjoying classes taught by Raissa and Dyamen!! They are great instructors.
The instructors!!
Julianne's class is AWESOME!! It would be great if other yoga sculpt instructors took a page out of her book. The music is good, the reps are great.
Parking. Lots of classes at different times. Good teachers.
Super friendly staff and loved the hot yoga class with Jamie!
Negeen was an amazing instructor - so positive and encouraging!
Wonderful experience each time, all of the instructors are amazing, my favorite ones are Deshauna, Jamie, Reesa!
This is the best studio!! The rooms are large with big windows. The teachers are excellent and there is a great variety of classes offered.
Overall it's a good studio! Some amazing teachers: Dyamen, Jamie, Raissa, and Sophia M are terrific as they push their students and guide them safely into poses. It makes the classes enjoyable. I walk out of their classes with a refreshed perspective. It's amazing instruction they provide.
The special C2 class Thursday 2/22 was incredible! Big shout to the 3 teachers that made the class wonderful.
However, if CP is looking to improve...
My two points of feedback:
1) Instruction can be uneven. Some teachers need more experience! I have noticed some inexperienced teachers tell students to pose incorrectly, which could end with an injury. They speed through class like they memorized the sheet or something they looked up online not taking time to develop class content. I almost walked out of several classes when I realized the teacher didn't seem to know how to do the poses correctly. It doesn't look good for the Corepower brand when a teacher needs more to develop their practice and they are teaching a C2 class.
2) The inconsistency of the heat in the classes is strange. Sometimes it's hot (which is my personal favorite) and sometimes it's just cold, wet, and damp. I went to s HPF that was 87 degrees. And a C2 that was over 95 degrees. It's confusing. Maybe have a baseline consistent temp for classes and if the instructor wants to add heat great but they can't have it lower than a certain temp? Just a thought.
And for perspective, I took CP teacher training 15 years ago in Southern California and have been a teacher as well as practiced yoga for over 20 years. This feedback is truly coming from a place of wanting to make the community and the classes better.
Thanks for listening!

I like the teachers, the balance of anonymity and the personal, the frequency and timing of classes, the location, the atmosphere, the way I feel after, the way I feel during, the heat!, the support I feel toward strangers on their mats, and myself.
