Student Testimonials
It was great!
Love everything about this place! Friendly staff, positive energy, good vibes
Kismet is a Great instructor! Need to fix broken lockers. Lots of ppl, too few lockers.
Friendly professional staff. Ample parking. easy access.
I love the strength building yoga with stretching and core
The teachers are awesome. Shout out to the teachers Sean M and Sean F who have really helped me in my practice and pushed me to my limits
Love the abundance of class options at all hours. Love that you added Sunday afternoon and evening classes. Those were missing. Staff is always friendly and upbeat, facilities clean. I love the lively atmosphere in the front entrance with updated merchandize. But most of all I am in love with the yoga practices taught. I can rely on that even if I don't know the teacher I will receive a high quality standard yoga instructor. I walk out rejuvenated each time. Thank you.
Core Restore -75 min by Kismet is pure bliss. Whenever I leave her class I feel like I’ve had full eight hours of heavenly restful sleep!
I hope she can bring her style of teaching yin yoga to other studios closer to me. Thank you!
Welcoming environment.
My favorite thing is the heat of the classes, and the amenities of your facilities. They are the main things that set CorePower apart from other studios. The last class I took was also very amazing, the instructor was excellent.
It is the perfect combination of workout, meditation and community. I love core power!
Really like Core Power Yoga. One thing that needs to be adjusted is the loud music during class. Can’t hear the instructor over blasting music. My POV.
Helpful instructor and great playlist!
Berkeley West is so welcoming! I really enjoyed my class there. It was my first experience at CorePower and I will definitely be back!
One of my favorite CP studios! Great vibe and really great instructors
Love the schedule of 6am vinyasa. Great teacher! A great way to start the day. WIsh there was another day of week it was offered.
I love the positive environment, it’s not competitive nor is it an environment to feel insecure in. I was doing yoga mostly at home but wanted to put myself out there more and see where my yoga journey takes me.
I love the Berkeley-west CorePower location … it’s the best by far! The class selection is diverse and the times work for many different schedules. The teachers are also great!
I'm a huge fan of the Berkeley location! Everyone is super kind and inviting which is great as a new yoga-goer.
Amazing community, only gold vibes!
The many offerings, flexibility in choosing a class at any time and knowing I will find a class with a qualified teacher. There is a fundamental trust in that the practice is taught based on the same principles, teachers are trained in the same style. It seems teachers stay for a while, that's a good sign and opportunity to get into a weekly routine with a favorite person. Friendly staff. Clean facilities.
The variety of classes offered throughout the day.
teacher was great!
awesome
It was my first time at the Berkeley West studio. Terrific experience. Elsa had a great vibe, and taught an excellent C2 class. Ample parking outside. (A rarity in the Bay Area.) Nice men’s room area – surprisingly well appointed. Overall, highly recommended.
Instructor was kind, patience and made the class very comfortable. Thank you!
Always a treat to attend classes!!!
I like that I go into class feeling supported to do my best, whatever that means for that day and that at the end of the class I’m always proud of myself. I can feel myself getting stronger with each class I do!
the heated classes get a good flexible stretch and sweat. the lockerrooms are nice,
I did not like the instructors who blaseted the music for core workout periods for yoga only classes, it makes the sutdents less in tune with the instructor and many are fighting to hear the instructor, the limited time they spend on core (abs, etc)workouts does not need to be motivated by loud blasting music. the overall classes some seem to be very generic and instructors often focus on their "speil" or memorized verbage to reiterate in the classes instead of being in tune that many of the participants did not keep up because the one breath one movement could not be followed as the instructors were speaking at a faster than humanly possible pace to incioporate one breath to one movement, It was reiteration of memorized lines basically and not a good look, as if they were phoning it in and just talking their way thru class
I absolutely ADORE taking Kismet's Core Restore class - this is pure heaven on earth! Her warm style approaching meditative, calming state of yin yoga is something my body and mind needs. Everything about having a cooler temp, dim lights, lots and lots of props and Kismet's soulful style just RELAXES me. I can carry that feeling into my week. I always tell her as I leave -- she makes me float outta there. Bliss, bliss, bliss.
THANK YOU CPY!

Alexandra and Emily have been Amazing! I've also taken Maggie at Emeryville but I know she teaches there as well.. I really impressed with the teachers at CPY
