Overall, it was a good experience. The barber was very nice with my son, listened to what we wanted, and gave him a nice haircut. I personally prefer when scissors are used more rather than mainly the buzzer, as I find it gives a nicer finish. I’m also not sure why his hair wasn’t washed, or the hot towel, he loves that, but it wasn’t a big deal.
The one thing I would really appreciate is more transparency when something happens during the haircut. He accidentally nicked a mole on the back of my son’s head. It didn’t hurt him, and I’m not upset about the accident itself, these things can happen. However, I would have preferred to be told right away, rather than it not being mentioned because my son didn’t cry. I think parents should always be informed when something like that happens, even if the child seems fine.

Overall good experience but not as good as the service I get in Winnipeg i.e. no hot towel and had yo ask to trim eyebrows

KJ was a great barber! I understand he may have been new and the service took longer than expected, but he was so careful and cut my son’s hair exactly as I asked. It was a scissor cut, which is probably out of his regular day-to-day barber cut, but he did such a good job. I didn’t appreciate listening to the front desk lady complain about how slow and “useless” he was to someone she was on the phone with. It was loud, everyone could hear and it put a bad taste in our mouth on how she wasn’t speaking very nicely about our barber. She doesn’t fit the welcoming vibe of a north van establishment. You need someone younger, cooler, and kinder!
I brought in my young son and my younger daughter and they were very accommodating to give haircuts to all 3 of us. Top notch service. Very communicative. Only reason why I didn’t give 10* is because of the online booking platform and its it’s unreliability especially when I have to drive 1/2 hour.
The boys liked the designs and they liked the colour in their hair and right away he said he wants to go back next time to get his hair cut there next time and he wants to go blue next time

I now insure that I can schedule to access Lala because of her pleasant personality and thoroughness in her work. She is meticulous and easy to work with, sociable. As one gets older, with diminishing hair, those qualities are important to me.

I brought my three year old son with me, and he was apprehensive. The hairdresser that worked with him made him feel very comfortable, and he raved about his experience to his mom when I took him home. Oh, and my haircut was great, too!
My son had Luigi cut his hair a while ago, he did such a fabulous job that I had to ask for him too and I wasn't disappointed. I'm going to bring my daughter to him also.
