As is true of the old real estate axiom; location, location, location. But the fact is, I have at least three theaters closer. So why do I drive to Santikos Embassy from Alamo Hts?
Cleanliness is probably my #1 reason. The lobby, the restrooms and the theaters are all clean.
The staff is my 2nd reason. They are friendly and helpful.
The popcorn--it is the best in town, and believe me, I would know. I'm a popcorn fanatic, and have tried it all over San Antonio.

Then there is the general audience. A theater much closer to me is overrun by younger teens. I have nothing against younger teens (I have two of them myself), but they are disruptive and generally rude. It is too easy to go elsewhere than to put up with it. The audience at the Embassy is more family oriented, and I like that. My only real complaint, and this goes for all theaters everywhere--I would like a small popcorn--maybe 2/3 the size of the current small-for about $3.50. Let's face it, your margins on snacks are still incredible. Seniors such as myself (who are plentiful at your theater) would be delighted with a smaller bag for less money.

First rate movies at a reasonable price. Compared to Regal Theaters and AMC, Santikos is far superior both in admission price, concession prices, and cleanliness of the facilities.

Clean theaters, current movies, good selection and variety, fresh food, convenient schedules.

We especially like the convenience of choosing our seats ahead of time. And your theater is very comfortable. We also enjoy getting our own drinks, with possible refills.

I enjoy the free refills, convenient movie times and the location.

Only issue is the cleanliness of the seats and arm rests. How often are they cleaned or changed?

friendly staff, good food and good prices

Last time I was there there was a disturbance in front of theater 3 at the drink station. A mentally challenged man had gotten upset about something and he purposely kicked the trash can over. He ranted and got on his phone and he clearly looked disturbed. I immediately contacted First name removed at the bar and she immediately contacted the on duty manager who then both went directly to the are to see the man that had created the disturbance. He was still outside the drink station and I went into my movie but I heard they took care of the problem. That made me feel safe.

Honestly, the staff at Santikos are just nicer than the other guys. I go to the movies every weekend! And I've had to see my movie at other places from time to time and when I do, I always says to myself, I'm sticking w Santikos!

I like the reserved seating, the staff is friendly. I wish you'd pop the popcorn in coconut oil though.
