- Excellent, passionate teachers.
- sufficient classes for flow
- wish there were more Yin classes!
A lot of classes to choose from and your instructors are fantastic
Easier booking system/bringing back an app for booking into classes
Perhaps more benches in the changing room or larger changing rooms. It was very crowded.
The yin class was lovely and I really enjoyed it.
The overall mind body experience I get everytime I come. I would like to see more unheated classes as I don't like it too hot
The booking system is rather annoying - as you need to log in everytime.
If you could do it on an app that would be much easier.
Please encourage the no talking and shoes in studio. Signs with 10pt font doesn't convey this well.
I enjoy the whole atmosphere of comi mg in early and using the room early to making a cup of tea and revelling in that moment. Surry Hills BML is a very calm and peaceful environment. I also like there are event activities as well such as the urban retreat.
Friendly staff. Variety of yoga/ Pilates styles
This is a tough bit of feedback. Firstly the teacher was very welcoming and very engaged. She taught a lovely well balanced sequence that was exactly what I personally needed at that moment. But I wouldn't return, because there's a super heavy mouth breather at the studio. He was literally blowing air thru pursed lips the entire class, even during hip opening. He only stoped during savasana. I've never heard of this type of breathing, but I respect his choice to breathe that way, byt during a group class he needs to be guided by the teacher to breathe with the rest of the class. I did my best to stay in my awareness but by the end he was more audible than the teacher. It was really quite selfish. Another student started bhramari during the start of savasana which wasn't instructed at all. This same student started doing handstand kick ups after savasana while others were sitting in meditation and after the teacher invited us to sit in meditation. It's wonderful these students have their own practice but there are boundaries when it comes to practising as a group and the teacher needs to take that responsibility. Thanks
Studios are clean. Friendly and supportive teachers. Love the atmosphere.
Clean and spacious, feel welcoming
I was on a tour of Sydney's Yoga n Pilates studio's - I picked your studio to attend one of Cloe's session (Instagram Follower and Ex Breath Student here).... as thought she was technically sounds, session was high energy and fun… studio was pretty cool too.
The classes are so different, even in the same category (open, essentials, etc)
The best thing to do is to figure out some keywords for your teachers. Give the top 3: energetic, pushes limits, meditative, new-age hippie, whatever, and then we can decide better which class to attend. My last three random classes (where I didn't know the teacher) were WAY too much into pushing my rainbow chakra out in swirls, and less about setting up a good base and keeping my breath consistent. I know what I'm looking for, and I'm disappointed when I get something different.
I'm not sure how to improve this as it's a matter of physical space, but I felt like I couldn't get into a pilates class very often. Even a full week out when the booking system is open, classes are already on a waitlist. It was frustrating.
You could fix all the broken lockers.
Add another touch screen when signing in.
Have a fan in the pilates room.
Be mindful that if someone tries to call to cancel a class it's not easy to get through.
I do love the service and the teachers. I also think it's a clean studio with a lovely space and energy.
booking system
Best Pilates in town but pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease get those jump boards for the Surry Hills studio. So much fun and so much safer!
The space, the instructors and the amount of classes available
It's very difficult to book into morning Pilates classes
Excellent teachers
Everything! I'm still on my intro pass but here I go .... 1. I'm greeted with eye contact and a smile every time I arrive at reception. 2. The studio space is really lovely. A sense of tranquility descends on me as soon as I walk in. The only other yoga I've done was bikram off Oxford Street in the old laneway building. The rooms were awful. No such issue with BML. 3. The variety of classes is fantastic and I love your booking system and dashboard. Very easy interface. 4. ALL your instructors are fabulous. Obviously quite different, but I've got a lot out of every session. 5. Change room facilities are very good and clean.
I like how I feel after the workout and the soothing voice of Mandy :D
Great teachers, great facilities, good class times and variety, very calming and friendly atmosphere.
Would love some class offerings where the rooms aren't heated.
Convenience and the beautiful space. I would love though if you structured classes so on some days I could do a yoga and Pilates class one after the other because at the moment it's not possible and I know there are a few people who would love to do that as well. Also more lunch time yoga in redfern and evening classes in redfern on Friday nights.
nice spaces, variety of instructors
Great schedule and accessibility. Yoga hall would do well with a mop down after each class for better cleanliness and hygiene.
Good atmosphere, amazing instructions!

Yoga teachers are amazing, friendly stafff and very well equiped studios :-)
